Hi all :)

A friend of mine is after a new tank, he Loves my subtank but doenst have a mod to run it properly.

He DOES NOT want to buy a new mod, but wants something thats similar in airflow and ability.

What would you suggest? Kanger aerotank maybe?

ALSO

Does anyone know the width of the aerotank series? mini, giant, mega? his mod is 23mm wide strangely and he wants it to look as good as it performance.

Rebuild the head to 2 ohms

He really isnt after rebuilding at the moment, hes not long been into vaping and was using an ego with a CE4 before i gifted him my old mod (the one in the link)

I know from experience the subtank even with 1.2 head is a waste of money with this mod. and ugrading isnt an option at the moment. hence asking for subtank type airflow without being subtank.

Is there a reason upgrading isn't an option? There are some extremely affordable mods now, capable of running a Subtank. I've seen the 40w Kanger Kbox selling online for as little as $26.99

hes only just got the mod he has now, and for him that is a massive upgrade to take (funds wise things are tight) plus if he gets a new tank, and a new mod costs will add up.

Regarding the ST and the mod he has from experoience.... it doesnt work too well, after a while the mod just stopped firing it with the 1.2 coil and the performance just isnt worth the cost of the tank! trust me.

That's tricky depending on what his current mod can output. Back when I had a modest setup, any tank with Subtank like airflow felt like I was sucking in with a broken straw.

If you don't find what you are looking for, seek out some local Facebook vape groups. For instance, I just sold an MVP 2.0/Aspire Nautilus combo in a vape trader group for $30.

There is also a trading section on ECF but you have to be confirmed through something like a PayPal account to open that section of the board.

Upgrading to an rta can be really easy these days.. The taifun gt2 is super easy to build, practically fool proof. The kayfun v4 is just as easy too.

Both can be had for under 25 bucks as tobeco clones.

If he really doesn't want to rebuild (but if funds are tight that's the most cost effective way to go), then I'd go with a Nautilus, but it'll be more money to start and more money to continue to use.
