The problem is in they go for £40 ($60 USD) here in the UK, and I don't think the Cloupor is worth that. For £8 more I can get a Vapor Flask clone which is a far superior device. With the issues emerging with this box, buying even with a full manufacturers warranty is a pretty risky venture in my opinion.
Isn't the Flask a large mod? I bought the Mini mostly for its very small size. Mine works great and it's my favorite mod today. And I paid $28 bucks for it.

How long does that battery last? I want to try that one. I currently use the NCR18650PF 2900mah.
Its kinda hard to say how long the battery will last. I am vaping on the Clouper with a Kayfun lite on it, but I am also vaping daily two isticks with Kayfuns on then, and a Vamo with a Kayfun lite on it, plus a Tesla with an Orchid on it and a Spinner II with a kayfun. So to say the clouper battery last a day would be misleading for I vape a lot in a day on many setups! I can say I usually replace the battery once a day and fill the kayfun lite thats on it once a day so it last at least for 4 ml of juice that is being vaped at 15 Watts.

I'm having serious doubts about buying this device.
I hear your concerns. I picked up mine for around $25. For that price, I don't really expect much. My wife uses it daily and really likes it. But she's running at around 1.5 ohms at 12 watts, so it's not being stressed too much. Overall, it's performed really well for the three months we've had it. And if it were to die tomorrow, is probably fork over $70 and get her a VaporShark DNA30.

But frankly, for the price, I can't complain.

The following is from a discussion of the Cloupor DNA 50. In it the missing VIP card is 'explained':

sufie said:
We confirm this item (SKU 1873600) is authentic Cloupor. The VIP card which is used to identify if the product is authentic from Cloupor is taken out by our shipping department in purpose. Cloupor can locate the supplier via the serial number on each VIP card.

This is to protect our current price from increasing since Cloupor enforces a Minimum Advertisement Price policy, which is commonly known as MAP.

We have plenty of those VIP cards in our warehouse. As for Cloupor does not recognise Fasttech as a distributor, this is also due to the MAP issue.

As a result of the VIP card being taken out, you may only contact FastTech support and service for the item's warranty, i.e. replacement can be requested within 6 months after shipment and refund within 45 days after delivery. See more details here.

Thank you.

Im using the NCR18650B 3400 mah batteries in mine and I use them until it tells me to replace the battery. Is this wrong?

Also am curious if anyone has tried the red lock tite 277 Stud and Bearing on the 510 connectors?
Those batteries are not safe chemistry nor do they have a sufficient continuous discharge rating. Please don't use them.

I've heard differently and they are safe. Where did you hear that they are bad?
Panasonics, yes, sorry. They are hybrid batteries, but with their chemistry heavily weighed to the volatile ICR spectrum. They have a 2c max discharge rating, i.e. 6.8 amps, which isn't enough for the Cloupor Mini (or other 30+w devices).

I been having those batteries in my rotation for as long as I been vaping which been over 9 months. I mainly used them in a Vamo and now the clouper vaping at 12W to 15W with no problems and have used them in mech mods dripping with also no problems. With all the batteries scares I can understand your concern but am not going to throw them in the garbage when they have already proven themselves to be reliable vaping batteries.

They are fine for what I vape. Check this about 18650 batteries,

I vape no higher than 12W with a 2Ω coil at 2.2amps. They are safe for me.

The only battery I wont use vaping is a couple of Ultrafire LC 18650 3200 mah that I have. Its not that they wont fire an atomizer but they only last a couple hours vaping. They are great for flashlights lol

Awesome job on sharing that battery guide Rick.
