Well been using my silver mini from the 7th of january and still no issues, mine is even a batch 002, ran the test fine
But have not been using the USB charging, even at work I have a small xtar mc-1 charger with me (it costed me like 8-9 euros)
I always charge my batteries in a separate charge, and used the usb perhaps like 1 or 2 times so far

I also ordered a black one from gearbest, still waiting, should arrive any day now.
I have been using a heatsink (https://www.fasttech.com/p/1923808) with an orchid clone now (was using a subtank/kayfun before that)
This has been working out great for me, you dont have to adjust the screw at all this way and protect the thread in the mini

All in all it was/is my first box, I like it, that is also the reason i ordered a 2nd one. It's compact, it works great for me, you can swap batteries easily

Jay you still loving your Nano ? I just dropped one of mine PT 2's and it's getting hard to find parts. When china Holiday is over I will order PT glass from Fasttech. They sell 10 for 5 bucks. Now I need to locate seals for cheep. My second Mini from GearBest is in Tampa today so I will get it tomorrow.

Put it down and read your instructions.
Screw is for Center pin height. No way it will go low enough to Flush a (To Long) Magma 510 connection. If you tried to force it, you have likely already stripped the screw threading.
Scratch is the same as mine. Likely a machine mark only found on the Black units.
Well, there is only an one line about the pin in the instruction "Connector: Adjustable 510 pin". The pin issue is not a big deal for me. So far I like the unit. Using Efest 1600 and still have about 35% left.
Thanks for the help,crxess.

I did use it yesterday and it's actually very fast. 30% in about 40 minutes.

I'm concerned you are going to be stuck with the CM dedicated to the Magma - which isn't a bad thing - unless you can get the screw to back out. You may be able to use other adjustable pin tanks, but many fixed pin setups will not make contact.
You did get the box of Spare pin screws and magnets didn't you?
Maybe a small pair of Needle nose pliers to pull/twist will back it out for replacement.

Working Great so Far.

Had this thing for 2 days and liking it.Only think i dont like are the display stays on for 2 full minutes and its really heavy, not too heavy but it really rock solid.I did the 15 second pulse test and no melting yet .Batt case sits tight and flat with no play.uttons are a joy to use soft and clicky. Its a great deal and its well worth the wait and price.

If this thing any bigger it would be too heavy.

It works fine right now. The screw couldn't catch the tread for some reason. I tried Kanger Pro 2 and Air and they works fine too with the screw all the way down.
Thanks for the advice and help.

Toronto, Canada,
i just feel like that would literally melt my coil. ill do it on my natuilus here at some point probably haha. the thing is pretty much broken anyways. hopefully it doesnt overheart tho!

I just used an old clearo VTank, with crap juice in it, the coil was funky anyway so no great loss.

Does this mod have "step down?" I don't quite understand it, but it is giving me burnt hits at 7 watts on a Subtank Nano coil reading .59 ohms? And it's a fully saturated coil and wick, have been using it since yesterday, just started doing this now?

Sort of. It will step down to 3.6v minimum. Could be a bad coil.

Could you explain that a little bit more? I'm just trying to understand it, I had been firing it at 15.3W from yesterday afternoon, and it's been fine until now? And the display says 7W and 2.03 volts?

The minimum voltage the CM supplies to the atomizer is 3.6v. A full battery is 4.2v so it will step down to 3.6v but not lower. With a .59Ω coil @ 7w, it shows the calucalted voltage of 2.03v but it should flash letting you know it's not putting out 2.03v but the minimum output of 3.6v.

The burnt hits you're getting could be because the coil failed and needs to be replaced. Have you tried your Subtank on another mod?

You went the wrong way. Already Vaping LOW for the coil/head design. Then as it started gunking up(bad taste) you started lowering it - Making things worse.
Your Mod is fine, your wick is pretty much done and needs a rebuild or replacement.

When a Flavor starts to Degrade, Bump the Watts a bit and take a few good pulls. Often it will clear up some and extend coil usage.

***Screen Displays Volts required for Given Wattage requested. Nothing to do with Actual Output.***
