This is a great little mod, but this is one of the limitations that needs to be understood.

This is a great little mod, but this is one of the limitations that needs to be understood.
With a 3.6v "floor" on the Cloupor, the lowest wattage it will fire your coil that's reading at 0.59 is:
Voltage Squared 3.6v*3.6v = 12.96, divided by ohms (0.59) = 21.97 watts
If you set wattage below 21.9 on that coil, it will still fire, but the ohms display will flash while firing, and you'll actually be getting the above wattage (or thereabouts as resistance varies from coil to coil and with use).
That make sense?
in summation. you should probably build a higher resistance coil Jonner. I would say maybe even in the realm of 1 ohm. Do the math as Croak has suggested. to run 7 ohms im not sure how low you would need to build it. but a subtank I would think can run easily at least 15 watts. I don't run anything lower than 10 personally on any tanks. but usually at least 15 on drippers and presumable subtank could handle that (i dont own one)

Simple solution on the Subtanks of any size -To vape lower ohm - Purchase 1.2ohm heads or build higher resistance heads.
Remember, the advantage of a Regulated mod is to reach Wattage's a Mechanical mod cannot without building Sub/Low ohm.

Exactly what I'm doing with my subtank mini. I must say, though, that for some reason that eludes me, the exact 1 ohm value is some sort of ”magic”, regarding vaping performances. Mostly taste an flavor. Not density. Anything between 0.8 and 1.2 ohms really delivers - for me - all at precisely 12.5 Watts. Regardless of the atomizer (on Russian it tends to be a little denser than on ST Mini, though).
Anyway, Cloupor mini is way better than my old Vamo which is now shelved alongside both my Nautilus attys. I'm thinking of selling them, as they no longer provide a satisfactory vaping experience.

This needs to be stickied somewhere (everywhere?). So many people don't understand why people sub-ohm and do it 'cuz all the cool kids are doing it.
I only use regulated mods and I build 1.5Ω coils in all my kayfuns (3.1, KFL+ and v4) and they give the best balance between vape and battery life (10w - 12w). The only reason I have .12Ω - .16Ω coils is for temp protection on my DNA40.

Not sure what Vamo version you have, but the real original v1 from Rainbow Heaven was interesting.
Best performance was achieved with Stackedshock 18350's. One could easily nail the limited 15w output.
in any single Battery mode Vamo's just did not produce what the screen read.
Some even went so far as to add sections to stackshock 18650's

So I'm borrowing a Cloupor mini from my dorm neighbour, and I was a little concerned after reading about the explosions and such, but I thought "Nah, that's a one in a million".
I was just vaping some MBV French Toast (my morning puff) on passthrough, and smoke started pouring out of the battery compartment. These things are so compact their safety circuit, if you can call it that, frys itself with its own heat! Reminds me of when I used to buy green laser pointers in highschool, use a sotering iron on their safety circuits to fry them and then sell kids heat lasers they could light smokes with! These mods are dangerous.
TL;DR Spend the extra money to get a better product unless you want to get burned.

I just checked out a new tank . It's the anyvape Sega tank. I wish it was the same size as the Kanger Nano. What I love is the top load. If I was in the market for a 22MM RBA than I would buy over tha Kanger Sub. Just my 2 cents........
