I put a tape hinge on mine. easy peasy, flips open with a thumbnail, makes a nice resounding clunk when flipping the door shut. Rock solid.

I will not say a word. Nothing, Nada, Niente.

:D

Seriously, I've had this mod for two weeks. After all the times I've grabbed it out of my pocket or backpack, the door has never been an issue. It only moves around when I play with it.

Like a Zippo ;)

Maybe Zippo will start to make mods?? They'll need something for income as smoking dies off.

I'd buy 1 :)

There's a little subculture of Zippo mods, mostly cartos. A few commercial like this.

And a number of homemade mods like this.

They gave my 50 to someone else and gave my name, address, and cell# to multiple people to try to get anyone to send me one. All involved were quite confused, and Cloupor eventually PM'd me and they said they had No idea this was happening.

Sent me a tracking # also. Maybe I'll get another... What a mess of a contest.

I've been using mine in TC mode for a week now.
    Topped with a cotton wicked, SS430 28AWG coil in a Kraken @ 1ohm, 240F in TI mode.

Changed out the wick today, coil is still good.

The Mini+ has been just fine, no other complaints than the door which of course can be eliminated by using the sleeve.

It is a very easy to use TC mod, small and so far has done what it is supposed to do.

I change out the battery daily, I use Samsung 30Q's.

Hope it lasts for a while, I'm spoiled by the longevity of my Innokin MVP 20W's.

I have 3 tc mods now. Fun comparing the performance. The cube's only saving grace is the Stainless Steel mode. Well, that and disco lights. BUT, I find the TC to be VERY choppy with a stainless steel wire. Set to "hard" and it SLOWLY hits temp, then cools down forever, and then SLOWLY ramps back up. Does it in Ti mode too. Kinda sucky.

The IPV4s is MUCH faster. TC is like a very fast flutter of on/off. Dual batts is good, handfeel and weight for a dual, also good. LOVE the adjustable joules setting, much more accurate than the cube.

The lil Cloupor though. League of it's own. Not even a FLUTTER. Just hits temp and holds it. not sure how. I don't notice any kind of pulsing or flutter or anything. With a tiny $9 stumpy clone sportin dual Ti coils? Shazaam. Cute, tiny, hard workin, what more could ya ask for? Lol... another 50 watts I guess. Are we EVER satisfied? :)

Seems to rate quite well in Mooch's tests. Should be close, altho if you're having more fun on this...might not:)
    TY for the review.
Have you tried charging by the USB??
