I just ordered a 3.7v box mod from mad vapes for two reasons. First off, I like a slightly lower voltage vape, as I currently have a 5v passthrough that is just a bit much (still use it with smaller hits, but prefer the smaller voltage batts). The second reason is that I want to build my own, so I'm thinking with the how to thread at mad vapes and using this as a model, a newbie like me should be able to make these (apparantly anyways) simple connections. Mostly I'm doing this as I think it would be cool to be vaping something I put together myself and because let's face it, this is the cheapest way to get a 900mah vape.

I'm just wondering, though, where can I get more electronics knowledge so maybe I could learn to do some of the cooler mods you all are doing? I'm basically a know-nothing when it comes to electronics but do have some basic electrical knowledge.

Any book suggestions to give basic knowledge to someone brand new? Web sites to try maybe? Thanks in advance all...

900mAh refers to the capacity of the cell, which actually is closer to 600mAh for a 14500 when new, less after a few months.

That's lesson 1.

Here's lesson 2.
