Has anyone ever organized an effort to get the top juices examined for safety? Do any juice vendors do this by default? If I was thinking of selling juices I'd make sure that they were as safe as possible to vape.

I've done some DIY and I haven't been able to create a good vanilla using flavorings that are "safe" to vape so sometimes I wonder what makes my vendor-bought all day vanilla vape so good.

I'm sure 99% of people on these forums could care less about safety since they consider vaping less dangerous. I started vaping because I was chain chewing 4mg nicotine gum for 5 years. I want my juice to be as safe as possible.

I hear ya! It's kind of a gut shot to find out a reputable vendor is just buying juice from maker X in who knows where, only to relabel it as there own made here. Especially when certain chemicals are being mixed in we normally wouldn't intake & are known to be dangerous. The whole popcorn lung thing has me questioning a lot things.

Something I have learned, is that most good vendors will answer most questions directly. If I email them with a questions & don't get a response I'm pretty much finished with that vendor. There's a lot of good company out there with excellent cs that would love our business.

Here soon I'm going to email all my favorite juice dealers & inquire about diacetyl & whether the make the juice in house or have them made for them & is so where & who. If they aren't willing to say I'll just move on to one of the thousand others.

I love my vaping & really want to be able to at least know what I'm digesting. I would much rather see us regulate or selves then have the man stick his nose in & mess it up for all of us. Recipe for disaster.

Oh yeah, if you like vanilla try Highbrow. You can smell theirs & tell it's made with gourmet vanilla, which I know isn't cheap.

There site doesn't mention anything about being diacetyl free so I'm afraid to try them.

Nothing is mentioned about being diacetyl free because we have an ingredients listing for every product. Diacetyl is not listed in our ingredients anywhere because it is not a component in any of our products. Hope this clears up your much warranted suspicions.
