It does indeed smell. My wife and grandchildren riding in a closed, air-conditioned car with me vaping can tell me what flavor I'm using. They long ago pegged RY4, my favorite, as smelling like cotton candy. Now they identify my new favorite, cappuccino, as smelling just like cappuccino.

Vapor virtually fills the VW Jetta when I exhale, BTW. It does dissipate, but not instantly. I can watch it move over my wife in the passenger seat and swirl around to flow over the twins in the back seat.

Hey a fellow Jetta Owner!! Cool......

In the calm, but sanitary world of TropicalBob's Jetta... Passengers leave healthier than when they entered. :)

And on topic, my nephew asked me if I was "smoking" cherry. I was - it was JC 24 mg cherry. Nobody has ever guessed that about TW cherry 36 mg, so I ascribe this to the higher aromatic content of the JC. Nobody has ever complained about my e-smoke, but then again, I don't go out much.

Since I got my e-cig about a month ago I have been vaping in the sales (I sell furniture) bull-pen with nary a complaint. There is no lingering odor of any type. Believe me when I tell you my co-workers complain LOUDLY if there were. As it is, they seem genuinely glad to see me kicking analogs. I've been using Jaunty almond and cofee juices.

Funny story... I was making up some different flavors one nite and I was using sassafras. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs that usually don't even come near me when I'm playing mad scientist. One of my cats, Prissy, just started going crazy when I opened the sassafras bottle. She kept trying to grab the pipette and other things on my tray. She has never acted like that before. All the animals know when I have a tray on my lap they stay off the couch.

My husband speaks up and asks what I'm vaping, said it smelled just like pot,lol A few minutes later my oldest, who is upstairs, hollers down "who's smoking the weed?" lmao I haven't been brave enough to try vaping it again in case my cat goes bonkers again, lol

Do you like clove? I loved clove cigs. That way you will smell like you're just baking something (ham or an eggnog). Tee Hee...... Janty makes an excellent clove liquid.

I tend to think they are just angered that you are getting around the smoking ban. As I have heard that loud blurb on the news to get you to watch. (Stay tuned as Smoker's have found a new way to get around the smoking ban). That statement makes me soooooo angry. Has anyone else noticed it??

Currently, I'm vaping a 50-50 mix of ELP's Rose and Litecig's Vanilla. It's a lovely, soft blend that has little odor and a great taste -- my partner, who vapes French Pipe exclusively, likes it. No real odor even when I'm working in a closed room. Unlike, say, strawberry, which smells like those Strawberry Shortcake dolls from the early 80s.
