I have recently bought a cobra clone atomiser which i run on a Vamo v2. i have tried to rebuild using 400 mesh , 0.3mm kanthal wire and kanthal ribbed wire. my problem is no matter how many times i try to rebuild my wick , 3.4.5.6 coils at a time, i just cannot get my coil to go above 1.0 ohms. can anyone please give me some advice on how to solve my problem.

0.3mm Kanthal huh? So that'd be (0.321mm) 28ga wire (or, is it 29ga - 0.286mm?). The resistance you're getting is oddly low for 28 ga at 6 wraps... you should be over 1.0Ω with that.
Perhaps go with a few more wraps if you have the room, or thinner wire. 30 or 32 ga... would be .25mm and .20mm respectively. I'd try the 30 gauge... that should do it.

There are two ways - more wraps (try a micro-coil) or use a higher gauge wire. I think .3mm is about 28 gauge, so you could try a 30 or 32 gauge.
