Was puffing away on some butterfinger at work.. Cartomizer stopped working... no worries, it happens... they are getting a little long in the tooth.

Went to switch...and  The batteries started heating. Promptly removed them...them puppies were hot!

Okay.. figured the cartomizer shorted, switched batteries and no love on another cart... no love on the 801... switch batteries again, and Durachuck unresponsive.

Is it possible that the short fried the switch, or the switch had shorted?

I guess I gotta send him to the Chucklspital. :(

And I didn't bring a backup PV today... not sure why.... gonna be a LONG day.

My awesome wife is bringing Nursey chuck down later. I'm half paranoid, those batteries got so hot, it scared the hell outta me. Trying to figure out what could have gone wrong.

Used it heavily last night... no problems. I did pop a couple carts but figure it was because they were just old.

You need to take some ipecac syrup with you so if this ever happens again they will send you home. Then you can go home get the PV and come back to work and not only have your PV but also look like you're a trooper for telling them that it was just indigestion and you are fine and ready to get back to work! lol. :p

I used the Tenergy 3.0 and 3.7s Don't think it was the batteries, I'm sure it was just a funky switch, or something causing a short.

Nursey Chuck is working just fine, and am even using the same cartomizer that I thought had popped.

Will lifeflight it back to Dr. Jeff for Recusitation.

I had that happen twice with mine a few weeks ago. Vapor started decreasing and went to zero and the Chuck started feeling hot. Took the batteries out and almost burnt my hand on them. I tried 2 spare batteries and everything worked fine. I can't remember if the batteries were fresh but if they discharge down below a certain voltage they will heat up. There was no damage to anything but it was scary.

Yeah, but Chuck is now not responding to other batteries either.

Glad he's home Waffle. Give him a good vape from me :p

Thanks Shel, will do. He's loaded with Atomic Fireball as we speak.
I'm happy in a big way to have it home... in fact I might take him out tonight, been itching to see what kind of wierd looks I get vaping a freaking giant battery.
