I just want some opinions to experiment with...which coil build do you find has the best balance between flavor, clouds, and battery life for RDAs on a mech? Preferably stable on an eFest 18350, I'm looking for the best balance on my lower-profile mod. I've also got Sony VTC4s in a mech, so if you're in love with a coil for those that has good battery life, I want to hear that too. My most "perfect" vape is at 0.4 Ohm single coil 1/8 inch airhole on a mech with VTC4s, but the battery life is abyssmal. I love tinkering and have lots of wire, so if you suggest, I'll likely try! Thanks in advance!

Um, a battery is a power source. It holds X amount of power. Power is the product of voltage and current. Since the voltage is fixed, we can just concentrate on current.

Higher resistance resists more current than low resistance, so the battery lasts longer.
Lower resistance allows more current than high resistance, so the battery drains faster.

The only way to increase your battery's charge time is to use less power which means more resistance wire and a higher resistance. This cuts the amount of vapor produced. (Making vapor is work and work is power and the battery is the only source of power.)

I figure out the power level I like to vape at. Calculate the maximum current drain based on a battery at low charge then add at least 20% and use that as my absolute minimum specification of the current discharge capacity of the battery I buy. Then I vape what I like and have enough batteries on me to last a day. Currently going through over 5000mAh of batteries with 30Amp discharge rating a day, but I enjoy my vapes and use the batteries that make it possible in a safe way without worrying about how long each cell lasts.
