Hi All,

as per the topic above.

I have been obsessed with building coil every now and then, trying out different ways to coil. Twisted, parallel, clapton and etc. getting all sort of wires, Nickel / Titanium / Stainless steel (didnt managed to get yet). Uses A ipv 4s box mod

anyone share the same?

wifey using a subox nano, i have been tryin to re build the occ for weeks. anyone successfully done it? Most vids / threads are OCC v1, any tips would be great.

im using RTA and rda, switching around. do share your build.

Jus started using my RBA - still trying to get it right though..
i noticed from your pic posted - your coils are closed up, is there a reason for it not to be spaced out?
Im also on Khantal 28awg 5 coils gives me 1.15ohms.. is there something im missing here?

At 1.15ohms 20watss - 40watts - it vapes with vapour but no flavour

Why not try a 0.5 ohm build, provided you have a good battery, for safety reasons.

More power = warmer vape = flavour intensifies.

According to ohm's law calculator... a 1.15ohm build will max your power at only 15watts, maybe that's why.
With a 0.5ohm build, you can max out at 35 watts... assuming you're at 4.2 volts.

Have a go at this: Ohm's law | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

Get some 26 or 24 gauge wires. 28 gauge too much resistance for a 5 wrap, definitely can't get a sub-ohm. There's nothing wrong with your coiling, confirm. Lower gauge = lower resistance BUT bigger diameter.

If you wanna get 0.5ohms with a 28gauge, it's probably around 2-3 wraps, which i think is too narrow... might give you major leaking issues. Have you tried the Coil Wrapping section in Steam-Engine? Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators this has everything you need for coiling. it's like my other google hahaha

*Edit: Size of the hole of your coils also play a big part

Actually I find 28G 10 wraps is as good as 24G 5 wraps.
