Coil or tank problems?

I'm having problems with my coils tasting funky every couple of hours. I'm using ss316 0.5 coils on a cubis pro tank with an Eleaf istick power.

Before this my coils were lasting on average 3-5 days. I'm priming them the same, I let them sit and soak up the juice, I'm using the same 5 bottles I've of juice I've had in rotation from eliquid depot and the coil is connected correctly.

The only thing I thought of is the watts were too high which I had at 25-26 so I bumped down to 24 with no results.

What I'm wondering is could my tank be malfunctioning now because I've had it for awhile now?

Thoughts on why this is happening appreciated.

Do you have the liquid valve open all the way? I have a Pangu tank with an adjustable liquid port and if it is not open you burn the cotton and destroy the coil.

You mean the adjustable airflow? Yes it's open all the way

No I did a quick check on Webpage and it says this. I do not own the tank myself and figured I would look what it is made like.

The Cubis Pro supports the new LVC Clapton (Liquid Valve Control) and QCS NotchCoil (Quick Change System) atomizer heads.

Oh I think the liquid valve control is the 1.5 coil I have the 0.5 so there is no adjustment on it

With the coils in the Pangu you need to open the Liquid valve every time you install it because removing or installing the tank closes the liquid valve. Basically exposes the cotton in the tank. Just trying to help......
