If the package for the prebuilt coil says .6ohm (for one coil), your build with 2 coils would be about .3ohm
Sounds like it's reading correct
Yh it says 0.6ohms on the packaging for 1 coil I’m assuming and it’s reading 0.355 ohms so that’s correct and thank you so much for your help

We need to know if your coils actually read .6 ohms each. If that's the case the two in parallel connection would read half of that. The formula is R1 x R2 / R1 + R2 . Two .6 ohms coils should read .3 ohms in a parallel connection. .355 ohms that you read is probably right for the two coils in parallel. There's probably some resistance in the atty connections that make it read a little higher.

The real world version of that will be similar, but coils don't usually come out to be exactly what you'd expect to read.

As Anna said, crank the power up to burn off some juice and find a spot in the wattage setting where the spitting and popping ceases. There's always a sweet spot for the best vape on any coil.

Thank you but it’s an 0.6ohm coil I’m using two and it’s reading at 0.355ohms is this correct

I was editing while you were posting! I left off the decimal points in the resistance.

Yes, .355 is a reasonable value for two .6 coils in parallel. Lead resistance also figures into the result.

You might check out Steam Engine | free vaping calculators for some great help in creating coils.

Thank you for your help I’m using an regulated mod so if there is a problem with it it will just switch off right

Most any regulated mod will report a coil short, but that can vary with the electronics. Some will allow you to go down to something like .05 ohms before declaring a fault. Yes, there really are people who vape coils at around .15 ohms.

Popping and spitting can certainly result from wattage that's too high. It can also happen if the coil and wick are oversaturated at lower wattages. In the latter case raising the wattage to find the sweet spot burns off the excess and restores proper operation.

Yes, dual coils halve resistance and 0.35 is close enough to count. You probably haven't done anything wrong other than not knowing that dual coils halve your resistance. Your mod should have in the manufacturer's specs how low a build it is able to support. Check the specs on your mod but unless it won't support that resistance, which is unlikely, it should be fine. Vape it.
