Exactly. I couldn't care less even if I used an umbrella to coil with. If it works as intended, no grumbles about it.

Wow! Using umbrella to coil, are you building a huge Atomiser and all of us vape together at one go? Ha ha that is fun!

The types of tools can also be impt cuz the ohm tends to vary on different tools for coiling. Using similar coiling tools will be great but if you can't any tools , any tools will do, so long you get the ohm you want.

I mean. All DNA 30 devices pretty much vape the same. Very consistent and smooth vape. Only thing to be aware of is the DNA chips are more for high wattage vapers, since they can't down regulate voltage, only up. Works find for me because my coils are typically 0.8 to 1.3 ohms, and I'm a happy camper at 15 to 22 watts. The battery runs out super fast though. I go through a AW IMR 18650 on a provari in one full day. With my zna30, it's around 6 to 8 hours. But I guess I'm usually vaping around 15 watts on the provari and 21 watts on the zna so that makes a difference.

That aside, the hardware is bloody gorgeous. At 18650 mode, it's 3-4 cm shorter than a provari with extension cap. It's also a very hefty mod; significantly heavier than my provari. The threads on the top cap, battery tube and bottom cap is super beefy, but buttery smooth. Heck, even the threads on the 510 connection is hella smooth it's weird. Of course, it also has a layer of zenkote which is ridiculously durable. Pbusardo has a video where he showed them trying to remove the zenkote with different sandpaper. They had to use a power grinder to get the zenkote off :O

My top cap is 22mm and also has a fully adjustable 510 connection, so all my devices sit flush. The fire button is super shiok to press. My only complaint is that the 2 adjustment buttons are a little too small for my tubby fingers and liking.

Nice write up. I had tried once on my friend mod. Good but similar issues like battery run down faster.

On the topic on dna chip, I been eyeing on the Chinese version from yihiecigar. It's firmware can be updated upon new release. The newly released version vapes up to 35W. It's not that I vape at such Wattage but it is sure a nice novelty to have.

Novelty but can be costly, aiming to get one DNA 30 but got to save up first
