Hi im new here.
My new protank 2 arrived, first i need to say its very good! I already have a lot of evods, i really like the design, so protank 2 was a natural choice. It hold more juice and is metalic.

One thing i read on reviews was that taste was muted. Well, when i unpacked it and setup, i must say, vapor was horrible. I noticed both coils that came with the package are different from regular evod coils. The silicone band is bigger, but the wicks looked very loose and compressed. This coil was absolutely horrible. Tried to put some cotton, then shortly after my Evic started reporting Atty short.
Replaced the coil with one brand new evod coil, man that was like night and day. The coil worked like it should, now its vaping like pro!
Someone else had this problem?
Also, there is a little problem with the drip tip, its too much loose. There is any tip on how to make it grip more? If i replace with a new drip tip it will be better?

I have used about 25 coils on my PT2's, and only one DOA. I got lucky because I happened to be in the shop where I purchased it and got another for free. This was when I learned my lesson of carrying spares. Had just left the house expecting to be gone 3 hours or so when I got the dreaded burnt taste. So I stopped at a store to buy one coil and it was bad.

All of my PT2's have the loose drip tip. I just live with it but have read of simple fixes such as tape or cotton to help wedge it in. I did try a Ming drip tip but it is no better.

Time to rip out the silica flavor wick and replace with a piece of rolled up cotton...easy to do and make the stock craptastic coils into a vaping BEAST!

Tear a strip of cotton roll it into a thin wick/string, lay across the coils, put back on chimney and rubber cap, trim off excess with nail clippers...put a drop of juice on the wick, put in tank..let it sit a few seconds to soak up the juice...Vape Yo Face Off!!!
