I loved my cinnamon about a week ago but I need something different and the flavors I bought before that are gross and the ones after that are gross, too, AND I mixed up some stuff yesterday that is triple gross.

I need something for NOW while everything steeps and until my stuff comes in the mail, which will likely have to steep ALSO....with the possible exception of the stuff from Gingers, but that will likely be the last stuff arriving.

AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
)

Loving DIY juice. Able to test out multiple flavors and combinations with out big expense. I usually make a 10ml test batch to see if I like it before making more. If I don't like it I just delete the recipe I created, and try that flavor in a different combo. If totally don't like the flavor at all, am only out $1.49 for the extract. Started with 9 flavor extracts that sounded good to me. Captain Black tobacco with a tad bit of cinnamon Danish, is simply marvelous. Going to try some cappuccino with almonds next. No more waiting for juice, 50ml cost under $4 to make.

Interested On The Protank Rev1...What Website ?
Thanks Very much

The PT2 is a better tank imo, PT1 doesn't disassemble, unless the glue fails, they seem to get more condensation in the stem than the PT2. You can still find them just do a search for protanks and you will find them.

If you liked cinnamon you might like clove, they both have eugenol in them (slight numbing feeling). TFA Clove from myfreedomsmokes is a good, strong, DIY flavoring that doesn't need to steep at all really.

BTW if you don't have it already even if you don't want to really DIY it's good to get at least a small bottle of unflavored VG/PG base in your nic level. Sometimes those gross things taste OK if you dilute them a lot. Magic mask/vape wizard is good to have too.

Agree, flavor seems good from the beginning. Also have more control on flavor, VG% and nic level. Simply amazed at the ease to make and cost savings. I'm mainly using the on-line calculator for my recipes. Great for simple nic levels and flavor% calculations. If you can make a glass of chocolate milk, or a cup of coffee with cream, you can DIY e-juice.

Hi CrazyPam,
lots of good advice on here so far, I have 5x Protank2's and have the same heads in them since 11August. In the tank packages was a leaflet from Kanger with a list of recommended voltage settings for different resistance heads. These differ from the usual recommended settings of 'coil resistance plus 2' as the voltage to set. It is my impression that many of the problems that some people have with these tanks are due to setting the voltage too high. If you used 'coil res plus 2' for your 2.4Ω head that would be 4.4volts. Kanger recommends 3.8volts.
1.7-1.9Ω - 3.1-3.3V
2.1-2.3Ω - 3.4-3.7V
2.4-2.6Ω - 3.8-4.1V
2.6-3.0Ω - 4.2-4.5V

Every 3 or 4 refills I wash them out including the heads and then strip down the head, remove the 2x 'flavour wicks' and dry burn the coil/wick, drip a drop of juice on the clean coil/wick, replace the flavour wicks and reassemble then good to go again.
"touches wood" no leaks, gurgles, dry hits etc.
Lots of good info on you-tube for this. Good luck and congrats on quitting !

When creating and distributing a product you must stay within the safest guidelines possible. Which is where their recommendations come from...consider it like this...speed limit is 40 - Most people go between 45-48. Its our nature to go beyond limitations :p

I've had the protank 1 and got the 2 now and I absolutely love the vape they give, I use 2.5 ohm attys but wattage really depends on juice I'm using, I'd just play with the voltage to see what suits your juice best - some juices taste great for me at 5.5 watts, some I have to crank up to 8 watts - sorry I don't know what it equates to in volts I have my mod on watts.
Just a quick question though, I find that after a few weeks something must 'go' in the protank and it just leaks for fun and I have to throw the tank, I have fast learnt always to have a spare in the cupboard, I keep spare attys too and religiously clean the centre tube and replace attys regular, I make sure they're screwed on tight (it's not the attys as I have a few atty changes before they start to leak for fun) is this something I've just gotta live with or is there a similar tank out there available in the uk (gotta be bottom coil) that doesn't have this issue? I don't mind paying more, cos it's costing me near 20 quid every few weeks for a new protank anyway.

I got VG juice at a much higher nic level and dilute it with nic-free VG I got elsewhere. (The same could be done with PG, if one wanted.) The nic-free VG that I got from a food source was cheaper than the VG with nic that I got from a vape juice maker, bringing down the cost of the resulting juice at my preferred nic level.

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!

Ugh, I LOATHE clove.

I have unflavored 50/50 pg/vg. I'm just frustrated because I even messed up Sweet Tarts with actual Sweet Tarts flavoring. I mean, how hard could a single flavor BE??? And yet, I managed....lol

It didn't help when I mixed up a batch of flavors that should have gone nicely together and accidentally dumped them into my cinnamon tank....lol Just grabbed the wrong tank in my blind frustration. Now I have three tanks and I'm not actually sure WHAT is in them. The one I dumped into the cinnamon tank still tastes mostly like cinnamon. I just don't want it right now. The one I'm using right now SORT of tastes like Sweet Tart but the flavor is so weak it's annoying.

I'm sure it REALLY didn't help when I started pulling too hard to get a taste and ended up frying coils...lol

PRO TIP: If things are all going wrong and you're at wit's end, STOP. Take a long break and go away from it. Don't keep pushing ahead getting more and more frustrated until you've wrecked everything....lol It WON'T help.

Things would be a little better this morning but I woke up and found my desktop finally took a dump. On the upside, I just deposited a substantial check in the bank and will be able to get another after the 11th when the check clears. Also, now I'll be able to get around to cleaning my room and looking less like an extreme hoarder....lol

When I first got my protank II I had it on a mech mod, hated it, it leaked, bad flavor, figured out the mod was too weak to handle the protank. So I got a MVP2 for it and it is total opposite no leakage and great flavor. My current settings are 3.8v/6.5w. Anything higher I get a bad burn taste. I am going to rebuild it soon after I pick up some cotton and try again on the settings. I read people going to 4.0+v/7.0+w, tried to go that high, but really bad burnt taste.

They don't come with an adapter, but looking at the threading of the Ego-C, it looks like the interior threading is female 510:

The Protank will screw into the stem, rather than over it. As far as I know, some people then use a beauty ring to cover the exposed Ego threads on the outside, but that's purely for cosmetic purposes.

Thanks! I didn't even think of that. I knew it had internal threads for the charger but didn't put it together. lol. Thanks again!

Best clearo on the market, imho. All clearo's have the potential to leak, unless the airflow comes from the top, like some of the newer designs coming out. Good luck to you!

I have to agree...with maybe the Innokin IClear30 a coming in second.

With bottom coil, choose your ohm level replacements, all parts removable for cleaning, glass tanks and replaceable drip tips; it is as though someone took all of the hassle points and engineered them out!
