Welcome to the forum!

Whenever it decides to crap out or give a bad vape? Lol

I change coils about once a week or so. It all depends on what type of coil I am using and what juice.

Right now I am on week 2 on my K1 and about a week on my aspire Atlantis.

I change my doge about once every 3 days but that is because I like trying out new builds. So it's more of a "for science!" Thing than a necessity.

I'm really lazy, if it ain't broke, don't recoil it. I change my wick about once a week, and do a dry burn when I do. I haven't rebuilt the coil in my rda in probably two months. Usually I don't rebuild unless I don't get full performance back after a cleaning/dryburn/re-wick.

I used to my K1 and Nautilus about once a week / fortnight. I find myself recoiling my squape and Aqua SE about once a week or so. Still fairly new to building , but loving having more control of my vaping.

Yah I started on my k1 and love it for all my tobacco juices. It gives a very familiar "analog" draw. So it's pleasant for when I need my analog fix.

But for just vaping, I love my little doge. Being able to build and drip as I please, it's been quite fun.

I highly suggest checking out the coil section of this forum. It has a plethora of information.

Currently I'm running a single Clapton build and holy moly is it one of the best builds I have tried (so far). Very flavorful.

I made it myself by hand and it's 4-30ga wires with a single 30ga wire wrapped around it. Great flavor!

I rewick once a day, I know others say you can go longer without rewicking but I have sensitive tastes and notice a decline in flavor if I go longer than once a day. Sometimes if I'm chain vaping, I'll do it twice.
But like I said, it's just my tastes.

But everyone has an opinion, this one is just that. MHO.

Looks great, will definitely do some research on the coils forum. The K1 is an awesome atomiser

What do you run in your k1? And at what settings?

I'm currently using a ECBlends desert leaf (Turkish blend) at 13watts. I find that to be my sweet spot for a "digital cig"

But I've been using my doge more and more.

When I started rebuilding, there were some that I recoiled at least daily (if not more) just for the practice.

On average, I'd say I re-wick every couple of days, and only re-coil when I need to. I have a few atomizers (Like the KF4) that have had the same coil for well over a month.

My coils can vary, sometimes I can run a coil for 4-5 months. After a while my coils will start to look kinda rusty lookin so I'll change them then because it probly aint to good healthwise.

There are a lot of different factors in coils durability things like VG mix, wattage, wire gauge, wire type and build even the air around you being pulled over the coil when I'm on a demolition site my coils will get a more ugly because of the dust in the air being pulled over my coils.

But I'll rewick and dryburn every day to keep them running best as I can.

how often do you recoil your RDA or RTA?

months.
I use 30 gauge and 28 gauge

recently I have been using my 3d plus nemesis almost exclusively, so I end up rewicking 2 to 3 times a week, but previously I was using 3 30mm veritas rda's and used to recoil once a week on sundays.
