I also had that experience, depending to the liquids I had to change the coil after only 5 days...
I banned all dark liquids l, I bought some like "apple", "fantasy" etc.. and they ruined the coil in few days.
Now by buying liquid I only choose transparent ones and hardly other "yellow" looking liquids.. And yeah, "Mint" is out of my list too
