Hello everyone, new guy posting again. Excuse the long posts - a few questions and my vaping experience so far. Appreciate it!

For those that've seen my previous posts you might remember I received my first PV, an eGo, only a day ago. Since then I've only had 3-4 analogs, at least two of them were at work overnight and I could already taste a huge difference. The slight tedium and annoyance that comes with being a new vaper is actually more of a bother than quitting itself. I gave away two packs of smokes today just to be a nice guy.

At any rate, in my experimenting I've gotten a bit of liquid in my mouth a few times (read: many ). I've developed a cold sore on the front left of my tongue, you know, the kind you get when you share smokes or a pipe with some friends. It could be natural as it happens sometimes, however, its position on my tongue is usually where the juice hits my tongue as I usually vape from the left (USB passthrough - computer's to my left). The entire tip of my tongue is also slightly red. I'm not too concerned, however I seem to remember (could be propaganda) that nicotine is supposed to irritate and deform - you know, like old baseball playing chewers w/ no jaws. In short: is my tongue going to fall off? :x

Anyway, I planned to do PTB before I even got the PV, so I picked myself up some bags and promptly replaced the standard fill. Most guide videos show to roll the bag from the wider end up and then cut off the excess from the end of the cart. Since I was just cutting any ends and going from there, I did it wrong a few times but I found it worked better - if you roll up the long way, it fits perfectly from the get go and I've had more success rolling a nicer-fitting PTB this way. Is there supposed to be anything wrong with doing it that way? So far, no leakage or dripping into mouth except due to overfilling and still getting used to proper vaping method.

So far, I can't put my eGo down - even when I get that rock pit feeling in my stomach like the first time I smoked an Export A green (not a bad experience). People at work are interested. I'm encountering problems like any other though... Even with the PTBs the juice closest to the atty wicks first and the rest has slight trouble flowing unless I mess with it a bit (therefore getting my fingers juicy). Usually around that time, due to the burn, I throw a drip or two of tobacco flavour (regardless of flavour I have in cart; it's as neutral as possible and sometimes I can't quite remember which is which. Applewood/peachwood/cherrywood tobac somewhat indistinguishable w/ continuous vaping).

I've noticed that the atty's dry if I take the cart out and just hit the button and it sizzles and smokes right away, and sometimes turns red around the wick - is that a light indicator or is that actual red-hot heat? Usually if it's still nice and wet it makes its vaporwhetting sound and there's no visible vapor until sucked on. Is this an accurate take on indicators that it's burnt?

This last part I should probably throw on e-juice review requests, but so as not to waste another post I want to ask: has anyone tried the grapefruit flavour (or its variations, ie arctic) from Vaperskitchen? I'm a huge fan of grapefruit and if it tastes anything like it I'm sure I'll be pleased. It doesn't seem to be one of their populars: tango tobacco & zambuca.

I'm new to the vaping thing as well and as far as flavours go, I'm totally surprised that it is flavours I want. I ordered tabacco flavoured juice with my eGo and I frankly can't stand it. I then ordered some vanilla, caramel, and another tobacco one from another source. I have found that I really enjoy the vanilla flavour bigtime. Tobacco one again sucks. Now I'm coming from being a cigar smoker (Cubans only) and trying to find that flavour just isn't going to happen I think. So, I'll continue to experiment with some of the other flavours out there but at least for now, vanilla is it and it's working great.

Sounds like part of the learning curve. you are getting too much juice in your mouth. Try leaving the filler that comes with the cart for a while(although I do cut it shorter) and see if that helps, the tea bags just leaked all over for me and I went to just a blue foam plug and have great results, no straws etc just a 1/2 inch long plug, just slightly wider than the cart.
As for flavors I am still a tobacco girl and Vapor station has some of the best. Blackberry and cherry and vanilla are my favorite add ins. Good luck and don't give up, you will love it when you get it right!
