people who buy crap products simply because a little i is in front of it (iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc)
anyone who buys a phone from the OPEN hand set alliance, running android (an os notorious for needing to be rooted to be worth a damn, and some phones will actively attempt to brick themselves if you attempt to root them)
ANYONE who pays for a digital copy of ANYTHING without having a hard copy...
M. Night Shyamalan
Anyone who see's me wearing BDU's after work and calls me "Army Man" (i'm a f*(&ing prison gaurd)
Anyone who, after hearing i'm a prison gaurd, assumes i'm a cop. Yes, i'm a LEO so don't assault me. That's as far as it goes. The cops harass me just as much (if not more) than they do you.
Anyone who bashes a particular band because they are "mainstream".
Anyone who likes a particular band only because they are "underground".
People who feel the need to tell me their life story when tell them "have a good day". Give me my f&*#ing change and shut up.
People who voted for Obama.
People who voted for McCain.
People who give me .... for not voting.

I think that's all for now...

An acquaintance of mine who's greatest achievement in life is being a professional stoner, arguing with me on how differentials (or various other mechanical devices) work. Keep in mind I'm a senior year engineering student, and have worked as a mechanic for a few years as well.

It's amazing how smart people get when they're stoned.

Drivers licenses and type of car you can drive should be required to take an IQ test.
Each member of congress (city, state, and federal) should be above a certain IQ level as well.

People who give me .... for not voting.

Thank you for not voting. I would rather somebody not vote than to vote for a lesser of two evils. And if you do vote, please vote for ANY OTHER OPTION. We need more options on the ballots before the big two will ever care about our real issues. Even if you do not agree with the other options, we all know they are nowhere close to getting elected, so please at least try to make this difference of giving future generations better options. Vote middle class.

The other day, I went through the drive through at Wendys.

I got a Double Bacon cheeseburger small combo meal which comes up to $7.50 ( highway robbery if I wasn't driving through voluntarily )

I get up to the first window and this very attractive yet unsmiling 16 year old girl sticks her hand out the window saying NOTHING. I give her a ten dollar bill.

She, still frowning and not looking anywhere in my general direction, hands me back $3.74. I proceed to the next window without her even glancing at me or saying a word. Her manager just happens to be handing out the food and notices me staring at the money confused.

"Is something wrong sir?" He asks

"Yeah," I said," She gave me the wrong change. I owe you a buck twenty four." And I gave him the money. Shocked he thanked me and as I pulled around the building I saw him now at the first window "helping" the pretty little ..... do her job.

PS I worked drive thru when I was younger. Its not hard.

People who give me .... for not voting.

Vote, don't vote, I don't care. Just don't complain if you're not going to take part in the process. That drives me crazy.

I always think it is hilarious that businesses hire cashiers who do not know how to count to 100. Heaven forbid I hand a cashier a $10.00 bill and a nickel for a purchase total of $5.03. It boggles their mind and they have to sit there a minute to figure it out that I am rounding up so I get a $5 dollar bill back instead of four ones. I can understand they really are that stupid. But what I can not understand is the fact that they were TRAINED to always type in the amount the customer hands them, and to return the change that the register displays, and they can NOT even do that simple act while they are confused! There is no math involved in that action at all. Maybe I should start typing it into their register for them while they relearn elementary school in their heads.

I have 2 mastiffs and my most hated comments are, do you have a saddle for that? Who is walking who? I'd hate to clean up after that! That dog looks like a pony! Is that a bull mastiff? And the winner was a guy who insisted that I knew nothing about dogs because bull mastiffs are much bigger than English mastiffs. This while standing there looking directly at my 200 lb. male, I mean really much bigger?

Many years ago, I would hop on the bus and take what little money I had and go to the pawn shops downtown and buy a guitar. I would then have to get back on the bus with the guitar. For some reason, I could never afford a case and would have to carry the guitar in the open air. Without fail, some wise ... would always pipe up with:

"Gee, are ya gonna play us a tune on that thing?"

guess I just must be a ..... magnet.

Ah I hear ya bro. I play the fiddle in several bands and almost every gig I play, it doesn't matter where or when, SOMEONE has to ask me to play The Devil Went Down To Georgia. I have been asked this so many times that I thought about making one of those "No <insert whatever here>" signs with the big circle & slice thru it. Sometimes I just ask for a hundred dollar tip or tell them Charlie doesn't play any of my songs, why should I play his? They almost always without fail just stand there and dare me. Gawd, what part of NO don't you understand?

That's the bad thing about being a fiddle player. They don't even notice you're there until you can play that Devil song. Charlie, I hate you! (not really. He's actually a very cool dude)

People who throw cigerette butts out the window.I always bonk at them, they look around like they did nothing wrong or act as if no horn noise was directed at them.Want to take a knife and shove it thru their ears and run the gears, in my imagination of course.A day very rarely goes by without one person in traffic throwing a .... out a car window.I wonder if its legal to think they tossed em out the window by accident at stop lights so I can jump out and throw the lit .... back in their back seat and say"have a nice day."?

I never had any idea that this ever bothered anyone.. Of course, I never did it with someone behind me, either.
What is it, the environment or things don't look clean enough or you're worried about them coming into your window or hitting your paint or what??

Oh man, don't get me started.

Some pet peeves:

1. I'm not Caucasian, though look it. I'm half Japanese/Puerto
Rican. When I tell people this I get:

"You don't look it." TH? What am I supposed to look like?
An alien?
Or--
"No you're not" Then proceed to argue with me that I'm not half
and half.

2 . The Census Bureau. Here's a thought. "None of your damn
business." That's what you get when you force me to mark "other"
and then try to stick me either in the Hispanic or Asian category. Or
how much I make, what's in my checking account, my SS#, how
many children I have, male, female (What if my kid is a
hermaphrodite? ) Hmmmmmmm?

3. We don't have TV. Haven't had it for 8 years now. The question I
get asked most often, "What do you do now?" Uh, hello!!!!! Have
you ever heard of reading? How about family time? Conversations?
Internet?

4. Parents who let their kids play with all the toys in the store.

5. Parents who let their kids play tag in stores.

6. Old farts and buffets. Excuse me, there is plenty of food to go
around. No need to cut in front of people in line or muscle people
out of the way.

7. People who park their carts in the middle of the aisle and pretend
they are deaf when you say, "Excuse me".

8. Having to have citizenship papers just because I was born in a
foreign country even though one of my parents was a US citizen at
the time.

9. Making $50 too much to qualify for any state assistance and I don't
even own a cell phone!!!

10. People who ask me to fix their jewelry just because they know I
design and make jewelry. "It shouldn't take you a lot time to fix
this. It's just a little clasp." You fix it then.

11. The diminishing capacity of people who are able to think
critically. E.g. When all the major news agencies reported that
all the oil from the BP disaster had disappeared and everyone
was doing the happy dance.

12. People who believe that the government isn't capable of deceit,
manipulation of facts, or underhandedness.

Told ya not to get me started:p

Yes both the enviroment and litter, its my belief that its disresectful to others to trash the land for the sake of laziness. Not too worried about my paint but a forest fire comes to mind. Its just my complaint, surely I do lots of stuff that bothers others.

Hey man I am wasted out of my mind and mad at the world but I understand don't worry about me starting no grass or forest fire I would never throw a cig out like that I been around dry grass and all and wouldn't do that but out in LA Ms. Jasmine did teach me about "head over the canyons" LOL over here

But it was sad too she showed me all of the stuff that got burned by the fires, too
That was so sad to see

That is perfectly acceptable griping...and I agree...though I liked the winner this time.

I love this thread btw here's todays rant.

I HATE it when an employee of a department store tries to tell me they have NEVER EVER carried something I bought there many many times. It says one of several things to me:

a) This person is stupid.
b) This person thinks I'm stupid.
c) This person is stupid AND thinks I'm stupid.
d) I should punch this stupid person square in his stupid jaw just to wipe that stupid look off his stupid face.
e) I don't want to go to jail and be someones b@%*h, so this stupid person gets a reprieve.

I feel better now. Thank you for this thread.
