So I've been having issues tasting my juices as I've been vaping more and more during the day, and then noted that even flavored drinks tasted very faint, muted. To check if I had completely lost my sense of taste, I went ahead and dumped undiluted Capella's Egg Nog(sus. in PG) flavoring into my atomizer. I got nothing. Is this a normal symptom of a PG allergy, or is this something else? I was afraid this would happen; I'm allergic to most alcohols and alcohol byproducts. Thankfully the majority of juices I ordered where I had a choice were pure VG, just waiting for them to come in.

As I explained in another thread just a second ago you might have vapors tongue, you need to remember to drink lots of water and especially while your vaping
I tend to drink about four litres of water a day, enough that what comes out looks like what comes in, so I don't think hydration would be it =p
How long does this tend to last, if that's all it is?

Honestly you need to get some real flavors, you never know with that China crap. Now if you ask about vendors your going to get a million different answers. It's a lot of information to take in when picking flavors so it can get overwhelming. I have only been vaping for a short about of time but I have started with these people. They are reasonably priced and will get you your stuff very fast and you can customize the order also and they have sample packs that you can get.

I'm not saying it's bad but everyone I have talked to has said to stick to local stuff.

Ewww to the China crap

I think that is exactly what you are saying.

Just so you know, Dekang is very well thought of in the vaping community. It was one of the first e-liquid suppliers, is the largest juice vendor in the world and they have posted videos of their lab in China.
Liqua is another - (although it's an Italian brand that is) made in China almost exclusively.

I have no ties to China liquid vendors, I just find it hilarious when people say don't buy from China when some of flavorings that US vendors use are made there. Nic base is usually imported too - although not usually from China.

I would just suggest that everyone do some research as to who is making their liquid and where their ingredients are sourced.

EDIT - sorry for the thread hijack OP... carry on.

HHV samples seem a bit pricier - 12ml for $10, with no coupons available, so ¢83/ml, where AIV currently has 25% off, with their 16 sample being $26.25 with the coupon, so ¢54/ml... Shipping to Canada from either is pricey too.

Yes it sucks that they don't have a coupon right now but I would try a flavor rotation if possible, also 10 dollars is not that bad lol

Well maybe I do need to do a bit more research myself but even if they are great I still wouldn't take a chance, to many issues with customs and I would honestly like to support places here in the US instead of taking a shot in the dark with a vendor in China

Of the 15 brandless flavors I tried from DX that Google tells me are mostly Dekang, the only one I'd even consider ordering again would be the Wrigley's doublemint - the rest were either disgusting or tasteless, and they steeped for more than a month in the mail on the way from China, with some additional time here, so I don't think they'd get any better. I do have most of the non-tobacco Liqua flavors on the way from FT, and I'll see if those do better. If not, I'm done with Chinese juice - got lots on the way made in the states and here in Canada.

As of this post, my sense if taste is partially back - so that's good I guess
