Don't get overwhelmed, we're using a lot of acronyms which you'll get used to after not long. In deciphering other people's questions and explanations, you'll figure things out as you go.
Thank you Z... someone else posted something similar (I saved it but basically what you posted) Good advice.
Don't mean to trip you out, but me best friend in high school (senior year) was half chinese (his name was Kim Gong) anyway... I have noticed (just like me) you tend to like helping other people and give very good advice. It's a big part of why I keep up on ECF threads... help the newbies. To you my friend... :thumb:

When I start learning about something I enjoy, I go into it heavy. I realize not everyone does or wants to do this. In looking into all of this stuff though, making that information transparent for others so the whole subject(s) doesn't seem so daunting, is something I don't mind doing. As long as it is received and continues to help people understand better, I'm all for it. I'm not a fan of just giving people information if they're just being too lazy to look stuff up, but I will definitely help guide people who seem genuinely interested. I get enjoyment out of that.

Glad you're also trying to keep up. I'm quite busy with work, so I'm sure I miss a lot of stuff, but I try my best to come back and aid in any way I can.

I also want people to feel welcome here. I realize there are some threads that have "OGs" in them that aren't too friendly to newcomers, so starting them off on a good foot is better than feeling isolated.

Everyone was where you're at, at one point or another. Stuff will start clicking and you'll have a bunch of "aha!" moments and all will be well again.

Here's a quick terminology cheat sheet I'd recommend you copy into a notepad app on your phone and/or on your computer to help you out until you are more familiar with everything:

    Z-Lee: TWAVGSOA

    Militantcactus: Welcome! You're doing great!

 Yes... you have been very helpful to "newbies" (I also try to be) Sometimes I also learn something along the way.
