Hey everyone, it has been a while since I have been here. I quit smoking for 2 months just to get started back full force again. I have decided to start vaping again and see if this time I can finally kick smoking for good.
I have been using e-JuiceMeUp for a calculator for my recipes. TBH, it is really a headache to look at so I thought I would make a new application that looked a bit simpler on the eyes. Don't get me wrong, there is really nothing wrong with it except for that.
So far I have been able to save recipes, and now I am moving on to working out the math. The problem I am having is with the ratios of pg/vg. If everything was just one or the other that would be simple:
(desiredNicStrength * recipeQuantity) / baseNicAmount = nicSolution
With that I am using other calculations to get the percentage and number of drops, just for the nic base to put in the bottle. I have found several posts scattered across the internet discussing how to calculate a recipe, but nothing as far as the ratios of pg/vg in them with flavorings. Instead of having a bunch of textboxes I am using comboboxes with a specific number of entries for easier calculations (i.e setting values to what I can get from WizardLabs, or normal 10ml or 30ml recipe batches that I make)
I'm hoping someone here has more experience with paper math recipes that can be carried over to an application that I would be able to use.
