Well, booze in general. I'm a whiskey man, I usually go with bourbons but I'm not one to turn down any whiskey. My buddy found a vape bar fully stocked. How this all got started... me and a friend were discussing what whiskey I should pick up since it's been a spell since I've had some. He said try some Johnny Black. Fair enough. Said to try it at a bar if I haven't had it or don't remember it. So I remembered the vape bar. That got me thinking.

I also like darker beers, I veer away from the typical cheap stuff (IE: Bud Light). What do you recommend for beer vs. liquor, e-juice wise?

I have a party coming up in my honor and was wondering what I should be vaping for such a grand occasion.

If you're a whiskey man and this is a special occasion, I recommend Five Pawns Castle Long Reserve (if you can find it). It's VERY EXPENSIVE for juice, but it is far and away my favorite vape. It's barrel-aged and it's like vaping with a whiskey finish.

If you can't find that or don't want to spend $35 on a 30ml bottle, Gentlemen's Reserve from The Steam Co. (Vaping, The Best Electronic Cigarettes, E-Juice & E-Liquid Store in CT) is also barrel-aged and is supposed to be fairly close to CLR but also really great. They have a 25% off code right now (FB25OFF) which brings it down to a much more reasonable $15. I have two bottles on the way and am really hoping it will replace CLR as my "treat vape" since I can't afford to vape CLR all the time, but just can't keep my hands off the bottle. :)

I think I will go with this. When I get my tax refund and can splurge, I will pick up a bottle of LCR. This is a special occasion, but not that special. Plus I've never drank and vaped haha, I could chain smoke when I was drinking.

A little nit-picky point (from another Ohioan here) it's CLR for Castle Long Reserve. If you go looking for LCR you're probably not going to find anything.

Evapesok makes a juice called "No. 47" that is similar to CLR minus the bourbon and oak flavors. It makes for a nice dessert vape.

I second Coelli on trying the Gentlemans Reserve. Also "High Five" from Good Life Vapor is a close ringer for CLR, although less boozy. Do you like tobaccos? There's a company here in Michigan called Ahlusion http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/446286-ahlusion-e-juice.html that does amazing tobacco juices. Caramel Wild Wood, Honey Cured, Vurley and Smooth Criminal are fantastic with a good scotch or Bourbon IMO. Vurley is a vanilla tobacco that goes well with a good stout or porter. One added bonus, they offer free shipping to MI residents.

Oh man, you are right! My bad, thanks for pointing it out. I always think of it as Long Castle, for some reason.

It's an hour and a half from me and I'd be definitely up for the drive. I wonder if they have a lounge or shop I could go and visit.

They do, and i'm considering a trip there this weekend. I'm about an hour away. Sampling has got me in trouble a few times already.

Nice man! I thought about it today and I think I'm going to go, I'm running low on juice. My buddy has to house sit but I need it bad enough that I figure I'll just fly solo.
