so im pretty new to this e-cig trend....but i decided to dive in head first.... one great thing i learned is with the krd808 is that the condom filling method is probably the best in my opnion full flavor great carto life and extremely easy....though it can be dangerous...anybody else notice how little fluid you need to fill the carto? 5-10 drops does great with little mess...

You should be getting more than 5-10 drops in via that method - more like 20 to 25 and it is the most messy way - I've never spilled that much ejuice refilling a 510 cart even when driving ;-) (inside joke). But go over leaford's videos again and you'll get more ejuice in there than 5-10 drops.

Just when you think you know it all, you learn something new lol
thanks kent, the leaford video was great.. Did not know you could empty cartos like that! Seems like an easy way to empty half the carto when one doesn't like flavor so they can add half of another to it.. will have to try it next time.

"Ipod..." I too noticed the few drops that needed to be added when first started using cartos, but I also noticed after less than 10 puffs I had to go finish refilling the cartos, something about liquid soaking in or something of the likes..

Glad I could direct you to leaford's help on that. And yeah, good way to change flavors. Probably best to use similar type flavors and don't figure on it working well with menthol. Menthol carts or cartomizers are that for life, in my experience. :)

Perhaps, but then that really defeats the purpose of cartomizers. If you're going to top off 5-10 drops, using a 3 piece is much more convenient.

In my only one week experience with my 510 (3 pieces), topping it off took forever, was always waiting for the liquid to get absorbed in the filler. With the cartomizers and the CCFM method, you go by pressure, it's quick and fast.

It might be just me but I feel like 10 drops in a cartomizer last longer than 10 drops in a 510. Also tried dripping but 3 drops was not even 5 puffs

I swear only 10 drops can last me at least an hour in my kr808 cartos. Must not forget that 2 pieces ecigs is way way cheaper than a 3 pieces one.

But hey, whatever floats your boats :p

My point wasn't about floating boats or anyone's personal preferences. Only that to top off a cartomizer after 5-10 drops defeats the best attribute of the device. But then, people tend to do that. lol

I see what you mean but I will top one of, usually 10 drops or so because I want to keep the filler wet and like the more pronounced flavor on a filled carto.

I drip on a 901 at home a carto on the go. keeping on topped of gets me more life out of them.

I got some 510 threaded cartomizers a couple weeks ago, but I'm having trouble getting used to them. The draw seems too "airy", and after refilling them (10-12 drops) they gurgle and I get juice in my mouth for a while. They also make a loud popping sound sometimes that I can actually feel in my teeth!

Are the kr808 cartos any better than the 510 threaded cartos?
