Confused about E go and 510??

Hi everyone...
Ok, so i am trying to decide on my 1st kit etc, and i think i want the e go. I'm confused though- when i look at the e-go kits on different sites they have joye 510 atomizers listed in the contents.
When i click on 510 kits, they are less expensive then the e go kits. I was under the impression that the 510 and e-go were two different items? If i can get the same 510s in a kit, why would i order a more expensive e go kit?
Are there two different 510s?

Also if i want to drip (already made) liquid, what will i need to order with a kit? will a need the syring or cartridges or what? kind of confused on that too

The eGo is basically a 510 with an uber battery. 510 accessories will fit the eGo making it a versatile unit. There are eGo specific accessories which don't work with a 510.

The reason to order the more expensive eGo? With a 510 kit you will be lucky to get a couple of hours out of one battery charge. This means frequent battery changes. The eGo battery will keep its charge for several hours making it more convenient imo.

If you want to drip order a 510 drip tip (DT). The DT fits on the atty and has a hole through the center so you can drip through it. No other tools required other than juice. Most juices come with a dripper bottle so just remove cap and drip three drops down DT and vape away

If you want to drip with a standard eGo kit (which uses 510 atomizers) then you'll want a 510 drip tip. The drip tip fits right over the end of the atomizer and you drip right into the opening of the tip.

In response to your other questions, the only additional accessory you will need to drip is a drip tip. With dripping you simply drop a few drops of liquid directly onto the atomizer, attach the drip tip and vape away. This is fine if you're sitting around the house, but in my opinion not practical for use away from home. Cartridges and cartomizers are alternatives for the "away from home experience". I prefer cartomizers since they tend to hold more juice and last longer before having to refill them. Everyone has their own preferences in this department though. You will have to experiment a little to see what works best for you.

Some folks prefer using a syringe to fill cartridges because it allows them to fill them from the bottom. They are not necessary though. I have found that dragging out the syringe is not worth the effort. There are some cartomizers that require a syringe to fill. I would advise against using those as a beginner.

My first real kit was a joye 510 and within a week I upgraded to a joye eGo. The main reason was that I was changing out the batteries all the time and it was becoming a pain. Since the eGo is a 510 I already some atty's and cartomizers that would work with it. So far the battery life of the eGo is SOOO much better than the standard 510, so I'm glad I got it. I haven't tried dripping yet.....but I'm about to right now!!

Atty is the atomizer, the coil that vaporizes the eliquid. The atomizer screws onto the battery.

Price-wise, liberty-flights has Riva 510 (similar to the eGo) running at $30 right now, after the ECF 20% discount. vapor-pure kits are even lower cost, at $24 delivered, if they get them back in stock.

You don't need a drip tip to drip. You can use an empty cartridge (no filler or juice) on the atomizer so that you don't burn your lips. You would have to have remove the empty cart to drip liquid onto to the atomizer and put it back on to take a drag.

I have a drip tip, and maybe it's just me (or the crappy tip I got), but I still remove it to drip onto the atomizer. I do this because I kept getting e-juice in my mouth, which I don't like.
