New to the forum and new to vaping so some of these terms are confusing. If this is listed somewhere else please just direct me!

PIF- I have no idea what this is.

Steeping- While i understand the term i don't know how this is done with e-liquids

DIY- Again understand the term just don't know how to Do it yourself on e-liquids

Also if there are others that have terms they don't understand i'm sure i'm in it with you so feel free to post them here. I'm sure someone will answer!

I'm newish and you'll pick up on stuff. Just keep reading

PIF- pay it forward... Someone lent me their ego a while back ad got me hooked on all this so now if I can help someone then Ill pay it forward an hopefully get them hooked as well:)

Steeping- from what I understand is that some ejuice a when made the flavors take time to mesh together to give you a good juice and steeping is the time that it takes to let the flavors mesh.

DIY - you can actually make your own ejuice. Buy vg/pg nicotine and flavors and mix your own custom juices. Do some resurch here and you will find the answers.

PIF: Pay it Forward. I did something nice for you. You don't have to repay me. Just do something nice for somebody else in a similar situation when you get the chance

Steeping: Waiting around hoping that the ejuice you hated the taste of yesterday tastes better next week. Next month?

DIY: Do It Yourself. You never know what's in that juice you're about to order from China. If you want something done right, DIY.

ok so now that you have the definitions I will tell you why it is important to steep your juice. Many vendors make the juice you order when you order it. They do not have bottles sitting around on a shelf somewhere, it is all custom mixed to your preferences. Because of this it is important to steep. It does help the flavors blend better but it also allows time for some of the ingredients to evaporate and deepen the flavor. Some extracts are made using an alcohol base and need time to steep to let all of that evaporate. When evaporation happens, the flavors deepen and intensify and also loose that 'chemical' taste that some have.
Sometimes a juice that you think is terrible is actually very good when you let it steep for a couple of weeks. Most juices need a good week or so to steep. Some need longer. You will get the hang of it soon enough....

Good luck!!

Thank you all for the help and thank you Amberina for explaining why you steep.

AS far as DIY... Do you mean taking a green apple batch and adding caramel and making it a caramel apple flavor? Or do you mean getting unflavored and adding flavoring to it yourself... or both... And if it's getting the unflavored, where do you get flavoring to ad to it?
