There are Quite a few, Joytech Evic VTC mini offers 75w, single 18650, The Joytech Cuboid is a dual 18650 at 150w, the Rx 200, a three battery 200w. also the istick 100TC can be run off one or two 18650s. These all have upgradable Firmware and TCR, TCR lets you dial in the TC to different kinds of S.S. There are many more, I have all of these and use them all the time, and all are under or around $40.

Anything with a fixed battery? Not comfortable yet using removable batteries.

There are a few, perhaps the Innokin Coolfire TC IV 100, would suit you, I do not have this one but I have had their MVP's and they were very sturdy. I pretty much use replaceable battery mods, They still have a lot of protection features. The main thing is with a fixed battery is that when it wears out after the lifecycle the mod is done. Also with replacable batterys you can always have a set ready to change out and not have to wait for a charge, I have had passthrough batteries get hot and malfunction, but never had a problem with a replacable battery.

I use SS in Ni mode. There is simply a temperature offset.
If one starts at a low temperature and works it up gradually to a acceptable level of performance, it isn't terribly bad at all. It will work.
If you plan to use SS and do not own a TC device then for sure get one with the SS option.

Finding a mod with a fixed battery to do SS will be challenging. Your options are "very" limited.

Yea, been looking and not finding much I like or fit my needs. Think it may be time to get over my fear of batteries and start using them. Been thinking for a while using them just in case FDA makes trouble.

I'll be receiving an skx zero mini (single 18650, 60w, TC) in the next few days. It has a "nickel purity" setting that allows you to adjust the power coefficient for different grades of nickel wire. The cool thing is that this coefficient is what's being changed when you go from titanium mode to nickel mode, etc. As such, you can use this nickle purity setting to adjust the power for SS wires. From what I've read, you go into nickle mode and adjust the purity down to 10-20 to use SS in TC mode.

$43 on fasttech, and can be had with a smaller rectangular screen or a larger square screen.

Batteries are neither food nor drug. The FDA is zero'd in on nicotine which is a product of tobacco.

Many vapors are storing 10% liquid nicotine.

Hope you find some gear you can work with and stay off the shtinkies[emoji12]

I really hope that you do get over that fear. When your internal battery device quits charging, the only thing you can do is buy a new one. If an external quits charging, you can buy new batteries for so much cheaper and keep using that device. You can also have multiple batteries charged and switch them out quickly.

If the FDA does it's worst, you could still buy batteries, but may not be able to buy devices. I'm a CAASA member, but we may fail. I'm a Vapocalypse prepper.

All that said, I love, love my eVic VTC Mini and my eleaf Pico! Both take 18650s, are small and the Pico is a great pocket sized mod.

Have batteries on the way along with a istick 60w TC. Will be buying more batteries and mods during the year. I too am a vapocalypse prepper. :)

The new Cuboid mini should start selling tomorrow and meets your demands.

Look in to the type of SS that's supported as well though. SS316 seems the most common one but you'd be much better off with something like 410 or 430 for TC.

Just curious though, why SS instead of Ti or Ni?

If I'm looking for a box that has SS capabilities, what should I be looking for? I only see boxes with TI and NI control.

I have two Sigelei mods and I'm buying two new Sigelei 213s, black on black, within 30 days. It's probably the most advanced but simple to use TC device out there. Covers all bases. Video: #1, #2., #3.

I've never had any issues with any of my box mods from Sigelei and that along with the features of the device are why I continue to support Sigelei.
