I have a 510 eGo.with a 3.7 volt 750mAh rechargeable manual battery. So does that mean I can purchase a tank to put on it?
Or do I need to purchase a different model?
If I can get a tank what kind?
How many and what kind of atomizers should I have on hand (I've been dripping atm)?
What's up with the mega battery? Can I buy those as backup and use all the same atomizers, tanks, etc.?

If you have the Ego, it actually delivers about 3.2v to the atty. The Riva, which looks and feels like the Ego batt does actually deliver 3.7v but drops to a little less under load. Still, you get more voltage than the Ego because the Ego is regulated using a pulsed voltage instead of a direct unregulated output.

Yes, you can screw on any 510 thread atomizer and vape away. The standard 510 atty as well as mega cone and tank attys (type A), the mega cylinder in polyfill or tank cart, low resistance 510 atties, 306 atties, and many others. The Ego is one of the most versatile systems available. If it says 510 compatible, you can use it on the Ego battery.

Cartomizers are also available. People really like cartos for the large juice capacity and taste. Boge is considered the best and run about $1 apiece in 5-packs. You will need a needle type syringe to fill them or you can buy them pre-filled. Filling yourself opens up the gamut of different juices you may prefer.

A eGo has a "510 Thread" on the battery connection so you can screw Anything that has a 510 connection onto it.

Atty's, Filler Cartos, Mega Atty's, E2 Cartos, 510 G4's, Map Tanks, etc.

Ok I'm really having a hard time finding information on tanks for the ego. My husband and I have 2 ego batts and recently bought 2 additional ego mega batts. We want tanks and need atomizers.
Can someone just provide me a link of what and where to buy?

Good Prophets has the tank atomizers and spare tanks (you need both). I have a tank and find the LR tank atomizers are a bit better (flavor and vapor) but they don't seem to last as long. You might just try some of the other ECF vendors to get the best price.

No, you don't have to have an eGo-T.
I haven't tried the eGo-T attys, but I'm currently using a 510-T LR atty on my Riva (same as your eGo as far as compatibility goes), and I totally love it.
Vaperite sells them for $8 each. You can get a 5 pack from Greenhouse One for $25, but apparently they'll ship from China, so it may take a bit longer to get them. You'll also need to buy a pack of the empty tanks to go on the atty. (Maybe $5 or $6 for 5 of them). They're really nice... The LR (low resistance) part means better hits and flavor, there's much less fussing with refilling, and hits are consistent in quality all the way through the tank (which was not my experience with stock carts).

So yes, if you have the ego battery, just order the ego-t atomizer and ego-t tanks (5 to a package i think). I'd be sure to order a few attys, in case you get a bad one. And, if possible, test them with an ohm meter when you receive them so you can send them back right away if they're DOA.

ETA: The 510 t (tanks and attys) are another option, but they don't hold as much as the regular ego tanks. They're much better than just regular cartos though.

So I'm looking for 510-t lr attys and 510 tanks of any kind? Is it really that simple? I'm direct dripping atm and hate the dripping part! Hate getting the last puff of chemicals before having to drop again! I'm hoping the tank is the answer.

If you're direct dripping, it depends on how you vape. I only get 3 or 4 good long puffs that way myself, but the flavor is awesome. If you're NOT direct dripping, something is wrong.

I was dripping before the switch to tanks too. I hated that taste as it started drying up, and the constant re-dripping. I think you'll be happy with the tank thing - I know I am. It's better in every way.

I know the 510-T LR attys work great on a Riva/eGo, but haven't tried the eGo-T ones. I saw in DaveP's post above that type A would work, but what about type B? I've read that they're much better than type A.

One other thing... you can get XL tanks to go with the 510-T. I'm waiting for some to arrive, though refilling the standard tanks isn't really an issue for me. They last a fair amount of time. (Haven't counted the hits, but it seems like a get the equivalent of a few cigs out of a tank, and refilling is very easy).

Greenhouse One has the XL tanks, but if you're in a hurry Vaperite has the attys and standard tanks and will get them to you quicker.
