Do you mean mechanical mod? A mechanical mod works different from a variable device. There is no voltage adjustment and people usually make their own coils. Maybe you know this, but I am telling you because it sounds like you want a mechanical mod simply for the looks. You also called it a mechanism mod. Maybe such a thing exists but I haven't heard of it. Be careful. A mech mod can explode and jack you up in the most beautiful manner.

Thanks...yeah I typed mech mod, but wonderful auto correct decided to change it lol.

It is mainly for looks, I'm an artist, and I do kinda like my vape gear to be kinda different(like me lol). I saw the Tesla back when I had my original Volcano Inferno and thought it kinda had the Sonic Screwdriver/LightSaber look to it and that was a big plus. I'm happy more or less with what the Tesla can do...except like I saw on the Tesla group, my button isn't always working so I know its time to either replace it or upgrade.

I did look at the Provari, as well as the Innokin iTaste 134. When I was going through the forum I saw a posting of "What ppl vape with" and saw many awesome looking Mech Mods If I'm gonna spend $200 (my birthday is at the end of August) I might as well look for something I really like the look of. I'm going to have to google some of the suggestions (any links would be really appreciated)

thanks

...considering a mech mod for the more interesting look...

As Moonbog said, be careful. Now, it will all depend on what topper you use —basically the resistance value.

I have several mechs that you might call "interesting" but you would have to expand that. e.g. Last week I got one of the recos, a Black Copper Stingray; beautiful three piece mod that can be "kicked" and has one of the smoothest switches I've experienced. BIG Caveat: the black paint is as hard as acrillyc plastic and scratches just by handling it normally. I removed it today and buffed the tubes to a high mirror gloss naked copper. No longer "interesting". I'll probably apply a pitina to it. :)

That said, I like my Smok Magneto (smooth switch), Atmomixani 69 clone (side switch, extremely well finished) and Tree of Life Hcigar clone (beautiful, kickable and with a buttery switch). However, the only one mech I have more than one is the Nemesis. They are a coin in the air, Hcigar ones are superb, the FT ones sometimes are great sometimes not. Their switches need fixing, always, but they are kickable, extensible, shortable, interchangeable, customizable no end. As first mech I would get one and the magnet upgrade at the same time. Check the switch fix at my blog.
