Currently i am using a Mistic E-Cigarette, and its just not cutting it for me, i like it and all, its just the battery life does not last as long as i want it too, and having to replace cartages is getting expensive.
I have been looking at the Joye 510, and from what ive seen and read it looks pretty good, but i dont know if it will be right for what im looking for. im looking for something with a battery that can last me all day, that i can just recharge overnight, something that the cartages can be refilled and not have to be replaced after one use, and preferably last at least a whole day as well. when i smoked i smoked about a pack a day, and i go through one cartage on my Mistic a day. Any help in the right direction is appreciated!

Firstly, WECOME fellow Hoosier! Always glad to have another one of us here! Secondly, hairball's right. Never, ever charge a battery overnight or while you are away from home! And when the battery is fully charged, take it off the charger then..not hours later. You haven't said anything much about what or how much you want to vape, or what type of device you want but there are a few good ways to start. I'd suggest you start looking at a Volt, if something that 'looks like a cig' is important to you. If that is not a problem, then you should look at either the E-Power or the KGO starter kits.

Hi! Maybe I can help. I started with a Joye 510.
First thing is that there is no such thing as a cigarette sized e-cig that will last all day, or anything close to it.
The Joye 510 batteries range from about 180mah to 480mah, IIRC (It's been awhile).
You can figure roughly 1hr of vaping time per 100mah of battery capacity. It varies somewhat according to your vaping "pace".
Also, the little batteries begin to wear out fairly soon and that 1hr. becomes shorter and shorter as they age.
So, if you're looking for something that lasts all day, you're going to need something a bit larger, maybe the size of a Sharpie marker or small cigar.

The "mid-sized" e-cigs accept a cartomizer (cartridge) that can be refilled. The standard procedure with them is to buy blank cartomizers and fill them with liquid (juice) that you buy separately. The best juice is usually made and sold by a separate company than the ones that sell e-cigs and hardware. (but not always).

Also, the mid-sized e-cigs usually come in pairs so that while one is charging you can use the other one. You should never recharge a battery overnight. You want to be around if something should go wrong. These batteries are lithium and the potential for overheating or even catching fire is remote, but it does exist.

There are a couple particular models that have been time tested to be extremely good for new vapers. They are full powered 3.7 volt e-cigs. They have capacities around 1000mah and should last you all day, or very close to it.
They accept a wide variety of cartomizers and other attachments to hold your juice and deliver it to the vaporizing element.

I'm going to recommend two models. They are very similar except that one takes replaceable batteries, like a flashlight, and one uses a battery sealed within the unit. The one with replaceable batteries also accepts a very large battery that is available in up to 3100mah, so that would last you at least 2 and maybe 3 complete days between recharges. However, a larger battery is bulkier than a smaller one, so it's up to you how compact an e-cig you'd want.

Here is the kGo. It is 1100mah and comes in a kit with two batteries, a charger and blank cartomizers (cartridges)
You can get it many places. This is just a representation.

The one that takes separate batteries is here: It takes a 1050mah battery or, as with the model in this link, it takes a larger battery that is usually about 2000mah as supplied in the kit. It will include a charger and 2 batteries. There are other colors available and it also has a switch that can be replaced if it breaks.
E-Power

You can't go wrong with either of these units. They're reliable and time tested. If you look through this forum, you'll see many good things said about both of them and they'll both do exactly what you're looking for

im not sure what you mean by what i want to vape but as far as how much, i usually just take a few hits off of the one im using whenever i feel the urge to smoke a cigarette. and as for looks, i dont care what it looks like to be honest, ans long as it works! haha

If you follow the advice of sailorman - you can't go wrong. I've been vaping (and on this forum) for 6 weeks and I have yet to see him dispense anything but wisdom. I have an eGo system and an E-power and they are both solid values. I use the more compact eGo at work and the "stronger" E-power at home where I vape more & more frequently...

Hey, I have been vaping for less than a week. I have spent lots of time on this forum and been to my local B&M four times in the last four days... I have learned that it is an effective way to drop the analogs, and quickly becomes a hobby. I have a nice ego 510 setup, and keep a charged 900mah and a 650 mah battey with me and can keep vaping pretty much all day. (And, I do mean all day, LOL.). That being said, I am getting a little Provari envy. If you know you're in it for the long haul, why not start out with the best?

I have had Joye 510, original Joye eGo, then eGo-T, then The Silver Bullet and finally a Provari. I love my Provari and wish I just got it to start and saved all my money from the other ones to but it. Everyone says it is not for beginners, but I completely disagree. The Provari gives you so many options and I think it gives you a much better chance of not going back to analogs. Plus you spend so much on it you are determined to make vaping work for you.

Add another vote for the kgo. I started with a cigarette look-a-like and had the same battery and cartomizer issues OP is having. I moved to a Joytech ego-t 650mah, but the battery life was still not long enough. Finally, I got a kgo (1100mah) from hoosier and I am completely satisfied. I think a tank would also be a good idea, because it lasts all day and seems to make the cartomizers last longer as well.
