Nero, my very first ecig was the first version of the MVP. I have since bought or been given 3 more because I like them so much. Check out 101vapes for a good price. Good luck to you and congrats for taking a BIG step! 
MVP was my second device and I still have it and use it daily when im out and about. It does exactly what it says it does, the battery lasts for a couple days somtimes, and has a wide range of uses. Clear-o's, carto's, kayfun types, single coil drippers you name it, it will perform wonderful every time.

I just went from an ego to an MVP a couple of days ago. The difference is amazing. Taste is worlds better, much bigger clouds, and the battery is still going strong after a couple days of solid use. It is a huge improvement for me so far.
Personally, I'd go a step farther and get the VTR, I've got one and it's a beast. Tough, reliable, looks great, vapes like a freight train.
I would say I like my MVP better than my Twists and Spinners.
Depending on the power you like to vape at, the MVP could be a step up. If you vape at 6-9 watts and use the same atomizers, then the "real-world" vaping experience will be no different, although the MVP will last far longer.

The MVP is my absolute #1 recommended next step device from cigalikes or egos. It does what it is intended to do very well.
Even if you think that you're going to want to step up to a higher end VV/VW mod, it never hurts to have a MVP as a backup.

I own the first version MVP (no VW). The MVP2 a great step up from ego batteries.
I don't use mine much any longer, having moved up to mechanicals and Provari's. However, I recommend the MVP2 all the time. Great bang for your bucks.

Congrats and welcome to the forum. You won't be disappointed in the MVP. Did you order a different tank to go with it? The iclear 30s is OK but you can do much better.
I got mine two weeks ago and I love it I so far only charge it once a week thats also with charging my phone with it. Im still experimenting with different tanks and voltage/wattage
I've said it before N I'll say it again: the MVP is a great choice for stepping up from ego batteries. I've had mine for three weeks now, charged it twice, and loving the vape!

I'm thinking of getting an MVP2. Which other clearo/tank should I get other than the i-clear 30 that comes with it?
A lot of people on here will say get a Nautilus, but I only really have experience with Kanger tanks. I like the T3S tanks and Protank 3 mini that I have.
