Have you tried , let's say that current build in the photo, before saturating, trim down just the tails, reduce the fluff of the tails to half volume and maybe the lenght also. I can't really see how much lenght you are using but maybe it's all just wicking too slow? Again these are just some things that help in an rta and maybe not in a dripper, but it might be worth a try... maybe by reducing some of the excess bulk it may wick better.

There is some tension pulling the wicks out. Slightly less than pulling it in due to it being saturated.

I have trimmed it down to where it is just touching the juice well.

This is how it looks right when a dry hit is noticeable. I'll let it sit for awhile to see if it is wicking properly and try again later.

I hate to admit but this one way to quit smoking and vaping altogether, lol.

You see those dry spots, it is normal to get a dry hit when your wick looks that way. Even though partially saturated it isn't fully saturated, time to redrip.

If I were you I would either switch to an RTA or a device with temperature control.

Yes I agree, DON'T go back to smoking! Like f1 said, why not get an rta? Dripping is ok, but if you want something that doesn't require you carrying juice all the time, and worrying when it's time to drip or not, get a nice rta. I see your not a high power vapor and you rebuild, the kayfun mini 3 is by far the easiest, most forgiving rta I have ever owned. Although it's only a 2ml tank, it's the best kayfun to date imo. Top fill is soo easy, it has decent airflow in which you can do either mtl, or restrictive lung inhales. Adjustable airflow and adjustable juice flow. This will be worry free and get you to forget those nasty cigarettes. Once you have totally quit smoking, and think it the most horrible thing you can imagine, then start to think about getting another dripper

Thanks everyone for the replies. I won't go back to smoking :). Not really my thing anymore.

I will most likely will be considering a rta at this point and will take a look at the kayfun.

I still love drippers even though I am not fully satisfied with the performance. If I always had this problem, I would think this is normal. But because I vape till its bone dry for the last 3 years, I could have definitely gotten too used to seeing white wicks lol.

I might update again if I discover anything significant.

Thanks again everyone who have spent their time reading through all my crap and replying to it, lol. I truly do appreciate it.:thumb:
