constant "NO COIL" "OHMS TOO LOW" reading, what are the fixes?

is the 510 screw sticking out a bit? That isw what they are saying there I think. If its too far in, the mod pin won't make contact...did you tryt unscrewing the 510 screw a bit so it stands proud of the threaded 510 extension on the base??

nope solid as owt! really tightened it up

just says ohms too low, must be the deck its self :s, ive had two decks in now though....

the deck does have o rings though, wondering if I have to push that deck right in, ill have another go....

this is the hurricane junior. The base is virtually identical as far as i can tell. Check it out from about 8:00 onwards for a breakdown and reassembly..

ill take the deck apart once more I guess..... try another deck as you get three different ones... and only one of them comes with a peek insulator

The peek insulator needs to be attached to what ever (+) Pos deck is installed. All the Pos(+) decks share the same insulator.

no insulator mate!! that's the problem i think...there should be a round PEEK 'cup' that wraps around the interchangeable positive post . I can't see it in your pics!!

It's usually something simple. I had a loose 510 center contact screw recently on the bottom of a Kayfun that intermittently caused the same symptom. The long 510 screw that holds the positive deck section in place was loose, letting the deck section rotate and short from time to time.
