I smoked Cowboy killer 100s (2PAD)until I was about 21, then MB lights. With some effort, fueled by a cancer scare, I cut it back to about 1/2PAD.
I started vaping around march, 2011.

Over 40+ Years - In the begining Any Cigarette I could get my hands on; to Kool (Reg - filtered); to Kool 100; to Kool 100 Lights ; to Kool 100 Super Lights; to Barkley Ultra-lights (till they were taken off market); back to Kool 100 Ultra-lights; to Kool 100 Lights; to Kool 100's, to Liggetts 100 Menthol Silver (i.e., Lights) . . . Tried other brands in between always coming back to what I believe is a "True Menthol" Kool . . .

I agree. Everyones story is so unique yet so familiar. I must admit, my first e cig, an 808 starter kit, worked for about a week. Then I was switching between my 808 and any tobacco product I could get my hands on. It wasnt until I bought my Thermo folllowed by my Silver Bullett. Those got me off the cigs, especially the thermo. 7 volts with a copper 801 atomizer finally did the trick for me.
I had a minor financial crisis (as everyone does at some point) about 7 years ago and decided to shelve the Marlboros. I started RYO and I tell ya, American Spirit is a quality tobacco. Apparently Sante Fe Tobacco, The company that produces American Spirit, uses actual Perique Tobacco in their blend of AS cigarettes. I always thought they tasted a step above the other leading brands. This is why we pursued making an authentic Perique flavored vape in our Natural Perique.
Smoked two packs a day of menthols for nearly 30 years. Started with Kools, then Salem Lights and finally Now Menthols.
Bought an my wife and I an 801 kit on 3/1/10. Haven't had a cigarette since that day. My wife is still using an 801 while I moved on to egos, rivas, kgos and a variable volt mod. Only juice I vape is Goodejuice Ice Cold Menthol, best menthol I've ever vaped and I tried quite a few until I found Goodejuice last year.

Since Dec 6, 2011 I am a full-time vaper, using only stick-style ecigs. I have 510s and 808/901s with an adapter.

Short answer: Vaping full time.
Longer answer: When I got my first little PV, I gave myself two months to quit smoking... starting out by just trying the PV a bit in the first week, then cutting out a certain amount of cigs each week from then on until I'm down to a couple a day, then I'd give myself a couple of weeks with two cigs a day before quitting.
By the end of the first week I found that cigs weren't tasting all that great compared to the e-cig, though there was still something a bit more satisfying about the analogs. By the end of the second week I found it to be pretty easy to vape all day, except for one cig in the morning and one in the evening. Those last two smokes were the hardest to let go of, but it wasn't too bad. Two and a half weeks, and I was done smoking. That was last May, and I haven't had a single hit of a cig since.

been vaping since feb 2011. have lit a few real cigs since but have never went back to smoking. dont like the taste of cigs anymore, i must say i am addicted to da the juice!
