I like this idea A LOT ! , it would be informative and a contest , Many people do not understand VV and its advantages , The EGO has taken over the vaping world and it is just a battery that is larger ( well marketed I might add ! )

I also like the tiered prize thing would be nice as well with the grand prize being an Infinity Kit .

I need to put a list together that would go over the main points , one bad thing I see happening is experienced VV users taking over the contest so ???

Im guessing that some people are going to have to be excluded Mike. The contest is about getting the word out and I think youll find support for helping you do that ;)

Your too funny my friend. That is the longest post I've ever done unless I copied and pasted info in one. Thanks for the laugh Wharf.
I need to put an Infinity in your avatars hand.

Well all the posts say yesterday so I guess it's time to go. Remember tomorrow, The same Buzz time, The same Buzz channel.

I think Jerry would like that !!!

If the contest is to let newbies aware of VV one could limit the contest to just new members. (However, one cannot please everyone.) However, if that is the target group it will allow only new members to partcipate and exclude seasoned members from winning a contest. I know it would not be fair to run a contest and all the teckies come out and win instantly. This would not be a winning point for newbies/newusers. So limitation/rules could exclude and focus on a target group.

I know if I was a brand new/newbie to a forum and a contest was started to lure/educate me to VV and I seen that a member with 4009 posts win I would not be apt to buy that product. Why? Because I would use common sense to know that member had enough experience to know what VV is. Hope this helps Buzz...

You could do 50 state bingo with people picking any 15 states . Then put all 50 states in a hat/bowl what ever you have. Pick 5 states a day and do a question about vvpv per day and if nobody hits bingo that day you could give the right answer next day with another 5 states and new question .. who every the first to post bingo with all 15 states and the right answer for that day question wins.

All you have to do is allow people to e-mail one time with 15 states picks putting "Bingo" in the title area so you know it for the game. also if they pick same state twice they are out of the game. When person hits bingo all you would need to do check e-mail they sent with there 15 pick states and make sure they have the right answer.

Game will take 5-8 days before you get a winner once it starts.

Okay as a noob who is VERY interested in a VV the one big drawback is they cost allot of money, and there are so few of us are seeing the return, on our conversion from analogs, the initial cost still in our minds. I wish I had known about them, in all honesty, before I purchased the eGo system. IMHO the eGo, which is what everyone everywhere seems to suggest is great for a medium spectrum smoker, but, it quickly looses it appeal to those of us who were heavy smokers for many years. As a noob, the world of vaping is seriously confusing, most suggest you steer away from Mods and VV's until? Example is in a comment above about what voltage you should do use on this or that.... Trust me that really scares me away, I like most think I should wait again until? I know a VV would give me the type of power I need to STAY OFF analogs, but, alas unless the contest is who was born on Saint Patrick's Day ME ME!! I won't be able to afford one for a long time.

Are VV PV'sw, good ones expensive? Yes, good ones are. You indicated you were a heavy smoker. So was I, 2 1/2 to 3 packs a day. That cost an awful lot of money. I went with KR808 starter kits. The PT's were good, but I knew if I were to stay off the analogs (and yes I am even more of a newbie than you) I needed something better when I was not in my truck or at my computer.

I heard about the Buzz, watched and read some reviews. I still don't have a volt meter. I haven't even attempted to change the voltage on my Buzz since I got it 12 days ago. In due time, it still is light years better than a KR808. Sure, I imagine tweaking the voltage might even make vaping with the Buzz even better, but out of the box it's far far better than 808's.

So, what I am saying is don't let discussions of optomizing a VV PV's performance scare you away. The Buzz is very simple to use.

The Internet
A suggestion would be running a contest that interacts them into your website. Such as asking a specific question related to VV's and such. The whole idea would be interacting with the website. Winners could be random or specific depending on how long you want the thread to last. Or if you want to throw in some smaller prizes. You could ask specific questions such as three related to the Infinity. Then state on post 20 60 or 300 whoever post the winning reply(s) wins that particular prize. Start out with some simple prizes like a voltmeter, atties or juice. Then specify an exact number for the Infinty win. An example would be after the smaller prizes are won then go for the major prize. It warms up people to the grand prize. However, this may be a fast type of contest.

This. I've played a couple contests like this, and they are a lot of fun (and fast paced). I often see people from the contests posting in threads about the sites/products the contests were about.

Added suggestion . . . hide Easter Eggs on the site too (Like a picture of Obama vaping an Infinity or something). Just as a diversion, so it doesn't feel like school.

Or, the best contest would be to just pick the letter F, and give it to the username who starts with F. Oh wait, there are too many of them . . . Fr . . . still too many. Fre . . . . . . . ;^)

The whole point is too bring newbies into the fold....For that reason anyone already registered on the NotCigs site should be excluded from the contest....

I would go along with that Dee :)

Some great ideas here!

I don't think Jerry would like THAT!!!!! :(

I agree. It's like them contests where if you have talents in film editing or song writing etc. of coarse your going to win. I don't even enter those ones.
