Being new to the vv and having to research it all is pretty overwhelming. I really think a thread for newbs is a great idea along with the contest but it should be limited to newbs not someone who owns every vv mod there is. By the way my Buzz shipped today YAY!!!!!!! I am a newb to vv and mods. I have been looking at them for months but they look so intimidating and so big that it scared me. All the talk of ohm and volts and meters are scary to a newb. But I'm brave and had faith that you guys will help me overcome my fears. Just my opinion but these mods cost a bit more than the ego for intitial start up. It takes a while to get it that when the batteries dies it's not gonna cost you $20 everytime it dies or you don't have to keep buying the new bigger and better battery you already have it. You just need to gett a supply of attys, cartos or drip tips and some back up batteries and of course juice.

I agree Kellie, it can be very daunting at first, and I think a newbie thread is a great idea too. Yay on your Buzz shipping out to you! We get carried away easily but we are always happy to answer questions, and help new comers learn.

I have a set of batteries I got a yr. ago and they still work like the day I got them. I have so much juice and cartos plus other stuff I never use. I'm not bragging, I'm saying that between the Buzz and the Infinity I don't need to buy anything anymore and I just do it out of guilt I guess. I feel like I'm vaping for free if I don't. Ya it costs more than regular ecigs but in the long run it will cost you less.
My name is 5cardstud and I'm a vapeaholic.

Who's moon is this cow jumping.......over?:?:

Nothing sinister Rosco...it is the classic story book The Cow Jumps Over the Moon. I had the tatt done quite a few years ago for my (then) step daughter :) The sliver moon is under my belly button, cow is over and it's filled in with a star field lol.

That's the nice thing about the VV that notcigs makes. They back their products to the hilt. Also we all started where you are now and most of us have 5 or 6 old PVs that we would never have bought had this option been available to us. Your right some of them are damned expensive or else they are junk. The Infinity and especially for the 80 bucks is well worth the investment. I'm going on a yr. almost with a Buzz and less with the Infinity but neither one of them have not failed to operate when I push the button. All of the other probably 8 or 10 that I have of the others all have. Once you get a Buzz or an Infinity you won't need another one ever. I wished I would have had that option because I would have saved oh between 500 and a 1000 dollars.
Okay you ask what voltage should you use on this and that. That is a thought I never have. Mike has a chart here that tells you what voltage and all you have to do is download it. I have never checked a voltage level with my meters unless for documenting facts when testing. If you put a cartomizer or atomizer on full of this juice and it is too low you turn it up a little. If it's too high down it goes. Everyone has their own sweet spot, it is called, for this juice or that juice and for this cartomizer/atomizer or that. That's something that fixed voltage won't let you do. But both of these PVs are protected to the hilt too with built in protection and a warranty. I couldn't vape without one anymore.

Good luck on your decision what ever it is and this is by far the longest post I've ever done, and No I don't work for the company. Just a customer. Oh and I smoked just short of 50 yrs.

I do greatly appreciate the time you took to give me more of a insight into the world of VV, I'm really looking forward to the warmer vaporizing a higher voltage device gives you along with the other benefits. Your post has given me a far better understanding of the benefits of a VV, then allot of the information out there, about VV devices, they tend to be quite technical, which is intimidating. I have problems with the cold vapor I get, It makes me cough, which pulls my back, causing quite a bit of pain, so my PV is literally a pain. If the military should decide to grant me my benefits, I might be able to afford $80, which is a VERY reasonable price, unfortunately federal disability pays me about as much as a 16 year old with a part time job (I would love to see one of them survive on it!) LOL You know I'm quite the spokes person for e cigarettes, ever sense it broke the addictive grip analogs had on me, while they slowly killed me. So far I have 3 people who have come over to e cigarettes...Wait umm well, it is my birthday Saint Patrick's Day I could be a spokes person <evilgrin> I had to at least give it a try... Hangs head in shame wow desperation trumps self respect yet again!

Ok Ruppy helped me out here ( I suck at this stuff LOL ! )

and I have decided to do a Scavenger Hunt for the contest , it will require searching for the answer to clues we provide . I will start a new thread to start this thing off , the Grand prize will be a Infinity Kit , and there a=will be other prizes as well like a Voltmeter , Atomizers , Ejuice etc.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Thanks for the update.

Any newbies that want a good chance of winning better start looking at the site and get familiar where to find things. :) I just got my Infinity and I think my wife might just walk away with it, so I'll be in the market for another. *committing site to memory* (Who am I kidding. I wear my name badge all day so I don't forget my name. )
