I think It will be around 8 - 10 years before vaping will overtake analogs, Although there will always be people that smoke analogs.
#1 in public outside is open and freely except at schools or kid events. In the end kids (just like i did) may want to follow in our footsteps so when I'm asked by a kid i tell them that vaping is for quitting smoking only and there is nothing cool about it.
#2. Not sure they ever will because I don't trust the relationship between government and bt. If there was no governmental interference, I'd say about 3-5 years cause it would take a little while to really become normalized.

#1 Yes I Vape outside in public places. But not inside. Except at work. They don't mind where I work. But I still usually only do it inside around the people who I know don't mind.
Yes I vape in public in public places but only outside, not indoors. I vape at work and was told I could vape inside but haven't done so yet, I still go outside for some reason. I think I am afraid the smokers will get jealous.
2. If I had to judge by what I experience with people's perception about vaping that I receive at work, I would say vaping won't overtake smoking for another 10 years. However, my hope is in the next five years smoking is less common than vaping.

A little bit of both. Stealth at concerts on the few times I go, outside after gauging the surroundings, and to my hearts content if just walking around...on the few times I do.
