1) Do you vape in public places? If so, do you vape carefree or stealth vape? Yes I vape in public, carefree. I stealth vaped at the hospital last week while waiting on my husband who was having an anigiogram (no blockages) the nurse saw my mod in my hand and didn't say anything to me. If I am sitting next to someone I will ask them if it bothers them, they always say no and I have had a few ask me what is in there that smells so good!

2) How long do you think it's going to take before e cigs overtake analog? I have already noticed a MAJOR shift within my social circles. We were at a party this weekend and no one was smoking regular cigarettes. 4 of us were vaping and it has become very acceptable and several of my friends have jumped on the vaping train. I don't know how long it will take but I am seeing more and more of my friends make the switch and have been asked by the traditional smokers if it bothers me if they light up. It surprises them when I say not at all because I have been a long time smoker. That usually leads into a discussion about how long have you been doing this? What flavors do you like, can you recommend a starter set up, where can I get one etc etc..... Its all good

I vape openly in outdoor public spaces... except city-owned parks and beaches because the alarmists at city-hall think it vapor is worse than car exhaust. If I am around people, I'll still try and follow the smoker's practice of sitting downwind, etc., but I don't go to a smoking area to do so.

I do not vape at public indoor facilities/spaces. It has been years since I could ever smoke indoors, anyway, so I am still in the practice of thinking that it's not a good thing. I've also noticed that I can go longer without vaping than I could without smoking, so it is not as much of a challenge. Last, given the climate created by the press about 6 months ago, I thought it best not to flaunt vaping where non-vapors might mistake it for smoke.

Sadly, I think it will take at least five years--maybe ten--before that happens. The number of smokers I see at, say, the mall is about the same as about 6 months ago. I don't know whether it is because of the stubbornness of being in the habit, they tried "electronic cigarettes" and those really didn't work for them, or the hit pieces in the media scared them off....?
