Well, as we've had about 48 hours of guessing, it looks like you'll still be needing some more hints (and perhaps even a little more time)...
For now, I'll tell you this much - so far (the first 150 guesses), we've had ONE person nail the function (and almost the name, too, WAY TO GO!), another one that was VERY close, 2 that were in the ballpark and a couple more that were on the right track but didn't really get the function.
Keep them coming, guys! You can try as many times as you'd like.
We will be extending the cutoff to Friday night at midnight (I'll update the original post to reflect this), at which time we'll let you know what it does and what it is called.
It will be worth the effort, if you win one!

since it seems not to be a batterie... maybe a Batterie Case for EGO/510 type? You can put any type of batterie inside, and use it all day with your Atty or Carto of choice!
Its the eGo-booster , maybe to 5V -- and don't we all need our self-worth raised?!?!?!?
