That is absolutely classic. It inspired me to go to nintendo8.com and play a bit of Contra (the cheat code even works online, awesome).

My son which is 8 got to see a piece of history imo lol.

Yes I love that one, that's the Konami code and could be used in many konami and some non-konami games.

Heh, thanks to this thread I knew my new chuck was ready!

Considering it was a tossup between a black chuck with the konami code and a white chuck with Tux on it, I think I don't need the additional geek points.

Yeah I never played that game. I just remember U,D,U,D,L,R,L,R ABBA Select start.

Can't remember what game though, I just know I used it a lot.

-2000 geek points for me wasn't thinking computers was thinking Video games. Never messed much with linux. Played with Red Hat in college because that was what Novell want us to learn. I use DOS and Vista. I love DOS
