control head acting funky

ok so to make a long story short 16340 batteries got stacked in the evic tub and now the control head is going crazy even after going back to the stock battery, if you try to turn it on while its not connected to usb it says please charge by usb and wont turn on.

i have not tried factory reset cause i dont understand how to do it exactly. i have tried to contact joyetech but i would not be surprised if they just say well you messed up. Anyway if you know how to solve this problem or you have done a factory reset while on 1.3 please help me.

I was also wondering about the factory reset today, when I first turned it on, somehow it would give me a 2 sec puff and give me a warning about time limit. It took me 30 min, to get it set back to the 10 sec count. Then while I was trying to get it set back, I discovered the auto feature, which was weird. So I ended up not needing the reset, but I think if I knew how, it would have made everything easier. The thing is the manual did not say anything about a reset?

well i dont know what happen but it works now. After 3hours of it happening it starting working fine again we will see if it stays like that but i would still like to know how to reset just in cause

You are VERY LUCKY
Never Ever Ever stack in an eVic. it is NOT designed to handle 2x normal voltage input.

Probably superheated a chip and it took a while for it to stabilize.

Think of it like pouring Jet fuel in your moped.

I just did the same mistake couple of days back and it wouldn't turn on after that. Do you think my chip already fried? Two days later i still can't get it to turn on.

Why play with devices without the required knowledge ? you were both very lucky indeed........
