Hi Reoville...longtime vaper/lurker.

Well I've been always dreaming of being a Reo owner, but have yet to pull the trigger. 6 months ago I orignally wanted to get one for my birthday (July) and with the tax season over and a confirmed credit (whoo hoo) I could get one (bonus with SL/LP/SO, in stock pending...:p).
Now things have changed and I want to propose to my GF, yet I yearn for mistress "Reo".

Obviously, the ring is very important, but for my first time posting in the Reo forum, I just wanted to show my love/respect for you guys/gals/Rob and hopefully we can be neighbors in Reoville sooner than later.

Do the right thing......
Just pick up a few extra o-rings so you can get her size right.
Diamonds are a gazillion dollar industry built on lies. Love is love. Diamonds are rocks. I asked my wife to marry me with a straw wrapper and we just celebrated 9 years married with 2 beautiful children.
She will understand. Right?

Wife and I have been married just over 16yrs. Bought a smaller diamond initially (as I was a broke ....). Since then, I've suggested upgrading her ring many times - she wants nothing of it. But then again...maybe it's b/c we got lucky and bought QUALITY versus quantity (size). Her ring, surprisingly is worth much more than we paid for it and the jeweler she goes to loves seeing it every time she goes in for a cleaning as it is near flawless. Always asks her if she wants an "upgrade", LOL.

The cost of diamonds are artificially inflated. buy a nice ring, but don't get too wrapped around the axle about this. A couple of hundred bucks won't make that big of a difference. Your wife to be should care more about your proposal than the object that represents it.

My wife's ring is small and simple. Our love is big and complex. Focus on the right things. If your fiance to be only cares about carat-weight, you might want to look elsewhere.

DONE!!!! LP/SL Grand Tumbled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I got to get the ring:p

You new wife will be luck to have such a SMRT man. Bought a REO before the funds got locked down….Nicely done!!!

PS
I proposed with a plastic My Little Pony Ring from Kmart. It is more of a prized possession than her LeVian Chocolates.

Big proposal dinner all set and ring did not arrive from re-sizing. What was a guy to do but hit Kmart for a plastic ring…..lol
