I have a few work friends that I haven't seen for a while (quit the job and moved away). How should I go about converting them? Strategies? Have you converted others and what were your experiences?

I had the idea of just sending someone a starter kit as a gift and some instructions and links.
The money would be worth it if I succeed, but what are the chances?
Obviously a good starter set is important, what would you recommend? The Kangar E-Smart seems good and is flexible and cheap.

For me switching (so far) seems very easy, but only because I build up some "hype" towards vaping. I smoked more than a pack a day until yesterday when my first Joyetech eCom arrived. It's a sleek hightech gadget. I'm a geek and I actually like learning about a new weird problem and finding the optimal solution for me. But it is still a bit hurdle of searching and reading and viewing a lot of videos.

I new about e-cigarettes for a while, but frankly they didn't sound sexy until I saw a post in another forum about quitting smoking. vaping. A link to a youtube video with weirdos talking in a foreign language :D Of course all the acronyms and "l33t" names like vaping are a bit silly, but they are also cool! ;) But maybe that is hit and miss, and others could get turned off by this "culture".

Probably once you get a starter set and instructions how vaping works, the biggest hurdle left is the right eliquid. So far I only really like vanilla lol. What are the most neutral and easy to get into vaping eliquids?

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink!

First, the best you can do is tell them about your vaping experience, and (if possible) have an inexpensive starter-kit you could give them (or lend them). At the very least, have a recommendation for where they could get a good setup. For "hand-out" kits, this one is pretty good IMHO:
    https://www.fasttech.com/products/1...ce5-2-in-1-usb-rechargeable-900mah-electronic
(Comes in other colors, too. It will take a while to get here from China, though; perhaps 6 weeks if you're unlucky).

At about $7.50 it's a pretty cheap way to get friends started

Don't oversell, but you certainly are entitled to show some excitement about vaping! Are you going to be seeing these friends, or is it all going to be email/phone? If they could see your setup (and see you vaping) that might be very helpful.

There are only a couple e-liquids that "almost everybody" likes in my experience. (Meaning, people I actually got to start vaping). Two I would recommend are:

Deadly Sin from Good Life Vapor
Hangsen Juicy Peach (you can get that from FastTech).

But juices and tastes are SO subjective. Some people would question the Juicy Peach, but the Deadly Sin has a very positive all-around appeal.
