All wanted to know if it really works for me. Some have converted but all have tired because of me. Saw my doctor yesterday & he thinks it is a hole lot better than analogs.
All wanted to know about my Reo Grand & Mini.

It's not a whole lot better, it's completely better.

Regardless of the crap in the papers, E-Cig's have been proven to have nothing carcinogenic or detrimental to your health. The juice only contains Propylene glycol and Vegetable Glycerine. Neither of which are harmful to your health.

Nicotine isn't detrimental either, it stimulates the Brain. It can raise blood pressure but there are no diseases it causes.

All my friend's who vape have been to Doctor's, all of which say vaping is completely safe.

You can tell their not harmful because once you stop smoking cigs and only vape you can feel your breathing improve and a lot of people get a bad cough which means their lungs are clearing out all the gunk. This wouldn't happen if the E-Cig was damaging your lungs.

Because E-Cig's are still in the early stages you are going to get the usual scaremongering in the papers etc. which says they're harmful. Some even like to say that they're move harmful than analogs. Which is complete horse crap. How can they be?

I've sent a few people that have asked to a local vape shop. They are friends that live in different states, that contact me on facebook, so I find their closest shop. One had to quit smoking and he was using a blu. He went to the local vape shop I sent him the info for and threw the Blu away instantly. The only negative remarks I get is when I am changing the wick in my RDA and I pull my kit out. They say I look like a diabetes patient.

I just sent info to another friend to a local shop that's 20 minutes from her and she is heading out there to check it out. I think by hitting a vape shop, even if you take them, they can try the different juices and learn all about the set up they end up with. Just telling them or letting them try mine I don't think will work, maybe I am vaping a flavor they may not like. I keep a plastic drip tip with me so I can switch it out and let them try.

Some of my friends haven't reacted at all they act like they don't see me doing it, others are very curious and ask quite a few questions. I've converted three of my friends to the E-cigarettes but we all still smoke analogs socially. I work construction and these people I work with are not friends hundreds of people see me doing it at work. 90% of them say nothing, 5% of them make fun of it and the other 5% ask questions are very curious on how it's going and how it works and want to try it out...

Here in Southern California, there is a lot of social pressure to quit smoking cigs, so vaping seems to be exploding everywhere. Just seeing someone vaping appears to be enough to get smokers interested. I do feel weird when I see people staring (usually non-smokers) when I use anything more pronounced than a cigalike, but nobody has ever said anything negative. As far as I can tell, everyone here automatically expects vapers to be smokers trying to quit smoking cigarettes.

I was the last of my smoking friends to quit, but they think it is great that I switched and have nothing negative to say about it. My husband is still smoking but is open to vaping. He has his own setup but hasn't been using it because he hasn't found liquid that he likes... I have some on the way for him to try. Hopefully he will get on board before long.

It's kind of lonely being the only vaper I know. Smokers are interested in a frightened way, but they don't seem interested enough to pursue the topic very long. Non-smokers have said to me that it looks like smoking, so it's smoking, etc. Or they tell me all the alarmist bs they heard on the news about it. I have no one to talk to about vaping outside this forum, really. It's like I'm speaking a foreign language.

The two most common reactions of smoking friends: "Those things scare me," and "No thanks, I'm working on quitting." Of those who've make the second remark, several years ago, none have shown any signs whatsoever of quitting, lol. I don't make any attempts to convert people, but am more than happy to answer questions and offer my device for them to try. It would seem most people are quite satisfied with the analogs....

I have one good friend at work who smokes regularly - I hooked him up with an EVOD kit and he's doing pretty well, just social smoking at the pub now and then. He cracked the tank at a New Year's party and has been smoking again for a week though - gave him my EVOD until we can get to the shop at the weekend, so hopefully he will decide to stick with it.

Another friend from work started smoking socially with us (he had quit several years before), and after getting a starter kit he gave up the cigs and now doesn't really vape either.

Third smoking colleague flat out refuses to even have a puff. No idea why, each to their own I suppose.

Non-smoking colleagues at work have been supportive - one described my switch to vaping as "amazing". We recently got moved into a very, very small shared office, and I think it makes a big difference to the non-smokers that I no longer smell of cigarette smoke. Non smoking friends all have no problem with me vaping in their homes (I keep it respectful and don't fog up the place).

My girlfriend has cut down a lot with an EVOD kit, but after discovering some new juices and investing in mini protanks I have a feeling she might end up switching completely. She has a few light smoker friends but they all seem fairly unconvinced - main complaint is "It tastes really nice, but cigarettes have a certain 'something' that these don't".

I met a non-smoking trainee doctor in a pub a few weeks ago who approached me when he saw me vaping. He was very interested in it (he was aware of them but had never seen on in the wild), and even had a puff. We chatted for a bit and I told him my quitting story and about the number of similar accounts online - he was very positive about it.

Got my MVP a month ago....since then:

Got my wife an eGo battery and she uses any number of my EVOD or iClear tanks on it and she likes it. She isn't as into it as I am... She has me fill her tanks and hasn't done it herself. She is pretty much over with analogs and only has one once in a while when we are with friends drinking, etc. She wants an MVP as well.

My good friend at work was so interested when I showed him the MVP that he went out and bought it as well....along with multiple Protanks/EVODs and a lot of different juice. He is on his 3rd day analog free... I think it will work.

I took my setup to family gathering during the holidays and was nervous about how they would react to it. Everyone was really suportive and interested asking me questions. I am hoping to eventually get my brother and sister in law into vaping as well.

In general I have had nothing but good reactions. I don't vape in public a whole lot, pretty much only in the car during my commute.
