Hi kids of all ages over and beyond 18. I've been ruminating on the subject of this post for a while now and thought I'd throw it out there. Although this will probably degenerate into a "Well, I prefer..." type question rather quickly given the 'versus' of the topic, what I really am thinking of while writing is this:

If analogue cigarette smoke had a voltage, what would it be?

This may be a dense question, I know.

I vape at 3.7 currently and use Boge 2.6/7 cartomizers because when I use the 2.0 cartos the smoke is just too dang hot for comfort. I also use the Kanger bottom/horizontal coil cartos (these are my favorite by far at the moment as they seem to take vaping to a new level) but I am pretty sure they are 2.0 so it is a question of the coil position here..I'm not sure.

I have a variable voltage device (VaporLuxe Rev. 2) coming in tomorrow or the next day and I know I cannot use LR cartos on it but I have been wondering if everything and anything will be hot as snot on that just by virtue of its voltage and my already stated aversion to the 2.0 Boge cartos or if I can find a happy medium as I have done with the bottom coil cartos (again I am 99% certain they are 2.0s) at 3.7 volts.

So, to repeat my above question in other words and underscore that this is not really a "I prefer..." type post in theory (but rock on anyway if you must): How hot was the smoke from a cigarette compared to the various voltages? I'm curious.

Be well people, thanks for any and all replies and a Merry Christmas to all.

I may be looking to sell a ....load of Boge 2.0 cartos come the New Year. Keep checking the classifieds here, as I'll let them go at cost.

I'm thinking that in order to make the comparison, I'd have to have a juice that tasted exactly the same as the brand of analogs I smoked, but I don't. As I recall though, analogs got warmer as they got coloser to the end. E cigs are more constant, regardless of the type of carto you prefer. But, as a rule, the closer you are to the coil, the warmer it will be, at a given voltage.

I think it's impossible to make a direct comparison. The closest I found to an analog is 3.7v IMR batteries with a debridged Cisco 306 @ 1.5 ohms. That's a little over 9 watts. The Ciscos seems to run a bit hotter than other 306s I've tried. I believe it has to do with their coil design and the way it dissipates heat.

Keep in mind though that I like a hot vape. This setup vapes more like the end of an analog rather than the first few puffs. I imagine knocking off a watt or two would bring the heat level down to the first few puffs. It's something you'd have to experiment with. I'd suggest a VV device to do so.

As for the tootsie pop, let's see. One, two, three, crunch. Three!
