Great thread. So glad I stumbled upon this. Nice to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. Like previous posters mentioned, great initial fill, but lacking in the refill dept. I have been vaping some TV sweetened juices so maybe the sugar is gunking up the fill more than usual as well. It seems like when Im losing flavor and need to refill, when i pop the cap off it still does appear the fill is saturated, but maybe its not getting to the atty good enough cause it will only take a few drops. I hope the issue gets fixed, i love my coolcarts!

And don't forget, a syringe is how they are initially filled in the factory...
It remains the best method for filling.
That said I have taken the comments here on filler consistency to the manufacturer. They are aware of these concerns and this should be improving!

I'm loving the syringe method. I read how the factory workers load 5 cartos in one hand and use a syringe with the other hand. 1-2-3-4-5 done. Nice, but I wonder how they avoid the CoolCarts from leaking juice out of the bottom with this fill method. I use Wow Carts almost exclusively as they are guaranteed to have a plug and a condom. The little nub on the CC condom doesn't protect from leakage as well.

Am I the only one using the condom method? It seems pretty easy for me, and I like easy. I have noticed that my blanks will take a condom filled to about 2/3rds, but refills will absorb no more than a half condom before coming out the atty end. I usually push the cart down half way into the juice, a little more, and let it sit for a few minutes, then push it down the rest of the way. I line 'em up and do 5 at a time this way.

I'm such a newbie, I'm not even sure what dripping is exactly. The syringe, yeah, I get that.

If you have some older boxes of coolcarts(not sure how many months ago, but before X-Mas), you're right. All the new boxes I've recieved in the last couple months have a larger hole at the bottom that will accept the plug.

Thanks MsOceanCity. I have older ones with the larger hole which have lasted me months. But, my last batch was from the Christmas Sale and the holes are so small making plugs impossible. I also think it is causing poor airflow, resulting in the black gunk/burning after only one refill. I never have this problem with my older ones.

Did you order blanks? If so which colors? I know it will be a coin toss which I get, but I'll give it try. :)

I'm going to keep EVERYTHING from now on :)

Good idea hehe. I actually only have a few of the thinner plugs since it was a time when the majority of them were still attached to the condom. If I had an abundance, I'd offer you a few.

Right now, my V4L stuff is all a mess and some of its still in boxes since I just moved. Once I get the chance to go through it, I might find I find a few extras :)

This is probably why I keep all my old stuff, such as the older and thinner plugs. I even still have some unused old style cartomizers (before the premium coolcarts and wows came into existance.)

Me too. Tons of ancient plugs etc.. I just vaped a VERY old carto the other day and it was actually... well, perfectly fine. I have a whole big box full of them, it just sank to the bottom of the heap. The apocalypse stash has gotten completely outa hand. (Our avatars should get together and dance by the light of the moon, the moon, and dance by the light of the moon, Mr Hyde...)
