...that mechanism and drove me nuts...I've taken a bit of heat over this method of switching, and I have to agree, electrically speaking it's not optimal (not to mention almost giving myself a tonsillectomy with a SmokTech DCC when it slipped off my tooth) but it works pretty dam good, the Ody is too heavy though, it doesn't auto fire under it's weight but you loose that "pop out" feel.

the hex was my first big batt mod and i loved it until i starting using a dcc, lol
never could get adjusted to the added length, lucky i still have all my teeth !
you make me feel better about the $40 i spent for it, lol
sadly, it has since walked away with somebody...
i can live with it, as long as they use it and it helps them
