So, I'm purchasing my first mechanical mod with the origen v2 atty. Kind of curious as to any personal experiences with either device.... I'm a noob in the sense I've never bought one by very familiar with battery safety etc. Just wondering as to the voltage drop etc as I do know copper will hit stronger than most anything besides silver but if you had to chose based off the total package which would you buy?

I'd say Panzer simply because I hate the lock ring on the Nemesis. I like the fixed throw on the Panzer in addition to the ability to set it down on a table without having to lock it. I rarely ever use my Nemesis, never liked its quirks. As to those who say that one material hits harder than another I balk a bit. When you have such a minimal drop to be expected just build your coils expecting a drop, it's also not like your voltage is going to stay stable for too long with a mech...

Panzer, my brother has the nemesis and panzer (clones). the nemesis lock ring is junk and firing pin unscrews alot. Hits good but that lock ring kills it.

the panzer is heavier and longer though, nice hitter and feels solid

If you want a nemesis look get a stingray. Its like a much better build nemesis, my friend just bought one and im liking it alot

As the Ninja said...for performance, it's copper nemesis....if you go into lot of other forums...the authentic Black Panzer gets rip on for performance and the clones , make sure you get the one w/out painted threads.

You can compromise and can get Black Copper Stingray...a good clone at least...or if you really want the Panzer..get SS or the Golden Army Brass one.

The Blackhawk tends to have more "performance issues" than the regular due to the coating often times also being on the tube threads which is a no no. It should also be mentioned that as all these people mention voltage drop; yes it happens, some mods have more internal resistance than others, BUT voltage drop becomes more prominent the lower resistance you go. If you don't plan on going below 0.5 ohm then get whatever device you want as the "performance issues" at that point will be negligible and in the end it's all about the user experience. Just cause one person blows a massive flavorful cloud and complains about it not hitting well cause of "voltage drop" doesn't mean you won't enjoy it. Take all of this with a grain of salt as in the end it's what you want out of the device and a Panzer and Nemesis are not exactly apples to apples...
